Dear Pastor Rayburn, I have been on your website several times, and I have been blessed by your ministry. I am writing to invite you to come to our Church if possible. You can come and teach us anytime it works for you with your schedule. We can also Zoom with you if you prefer that way. We are a small church in Bujumbura, Burundi, and we continue to grow. Pastor Augustin
Pastor Augustin, I admit I had to look up your country. I had never heard of it. Thanks for the invite! We will have to Zoom sometime!!

Dear Gary, Through your CDs, I was saved back when I was driving trucks. The Rose of Columbine, The Church of Hardee’s, and Tony Mack testimony come to mind. I had to get off the road because of health reasons, and I have now written a book! The Jhenna is now available on Kindle for 6 bucks. I am trying to help people with PTSD. Yes, I am now retired Army and not happy about it. I am going to send you a hundred
bucks! Thanks, Gary, for your testimony. I remember your looking for a sign story. Here’s your Sign, blood dripping off Jesus' finger, “This One’s for You!” I drove a whole lot of miles on the road, and you were right there with me in the cab every mile. I also remember your partner, Darrell Spicer. You guys made a great team! Damon. Hey Damon, yes, I remember you. You drove for McElroy Trucking! So glad to hear how much we helped you out there on that Ole Lonesome Road. Thanks for all your prayers and support over the years. Would love to check out your book and see if it fits in our ministry in any way. Send me a link or a copy if you can. Good Day, Sir! My name is Brenda. I live in Commerce, Ga. I listen to your show at noon on Pure Gospel Radio. This is my worship time of the day. I pray each day continually. I wake up and pray and give thanks. I listen to riding home with Linda on Pure Gospel Radio as I cook dinner. I am asking you for prayers for my son and also some CDs to pass out to family, friends, and my church family. Thank you for your ministry and thank you for being a part of Pure Gospel Radio! I’m praying for you and your ministry and ask you to pray for me and my family, and my Church family! May God continue to bless you and your ministry. Yours truly, Sister Brenda
Sister Brenda, thank you for your continued prayers. We are praying for you and your family, along with the work of your Church, to reach the community! Together we can make a difference! Dear Lonesome Road Ministries, I just want to thank you for your CDs. I picked one up in a truck stop listened to it and asked Jesus to save me, and He did! I am saved and set free from all my addictions, Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord indeed, Jim! Thank you for your testimony. A box of CDs is in the mail headed your way! Dear Gary, I have been driving for 7 years. I picked up a few CDs along my travels early on. I found yours to be the best. You made each CD a complete package, from jokes to songs, to testimonies, to offering a chance for someone to be saved. I donated in the early years because there was a CD player in the truck. As time went on, a few companies later, CD players became a thing of the past, which you know. I really thought your ministry would fade away. Surprise!!! God has brought you other ways to communicate.
That is AWESOME!!! I’m listening to all the CDs I have, I feel like I am getting to know you and your friends, as you are riding along with me every day in the cab! James Payne is amazing!!! David Gibbs has some incredible stories, The Davenports, Darrell Spicer, and your testimony, although it isn’t a fantastic story. God has done so much for you and brought you so many people to help you. Again, I say that is AWESOME!!! I even had some of your DVDs way back when, you and Joe Arview were doing your TV show. Recently, I learned about Joe’s cancer from one of your CD’s Maybe one of these days I can get out there and meet some of you all. I now drive for Ozark and have a CD player, so please send me as many CDs as you can so I can catch up! Funny thing, I wrote this while on the road and when I got home, you had sent me a package of CDs, Isn’t God amazing!!! Thanks, brother! Brother, you said a mouthful!! God is amazing!!!! Looking forward to meeting you! Dear Lonesome Road, Hello, I have been passing out the CDs and Bibles as well as business cards at truck stops here in Columbus, Ohio, for you wonderful people. Also, I do really like every episode podcast on Lonesome Roads web page I try to listen to at least one a day, it definitely helps me get through the day. Is there a store you recommend to buy a nice cross necklace? I want to get something to wear every day to remind me if I'm going through a bad day, there's always Jesus to look forward to. Take care.
I know what you're saying, I put 3 crosses on my truck when I was driving to be a witness, but also to remind me that I was a Christian on the road. When I would get upset while driving, I would think about the crosses on my truck and about Jesus going on the cross, bleeding and dying for my sins. It would always have a calming effect on me and still does to this day! We are His representatives in this world and we need to conduct our lives in such a manner! Thanks for the reminder!! Drivers... It's the end of the year, and I am looking back over the last year and have seen all of the blessings I have received...and I know it's because of the obedience I have been taught since meeting Dr. James Payne at Lonesome Road Ministries... I could write a book on just that. Back to obedience, y'all can understand. I drove for 27 years, so yes, I personally have done what you're doing. In that time, I was introduced to Gary, and the rest is history. I learned to sow. Thank GOD.. I sowed when I had it and now.. I'm living on Social Security... I had a wreck on the ice on I-44, so be careful out there. Now I am surviving and blessing others only because of my obedience when I had it. I sowed a seed last year, and I was able to buy a tiny house, have it moved, and a new metal roof. My son and I decided to sell it to a family that has three young girls...they were living in a bad drug neighborhood, and thanks to JESUS. They have a home in a better place...thank you, James, Gary, and everyone else..
Because of you, we are changing lives...and we're not done. .. drivers, if you want next year to be better than this year then sow!!! It works. Janet God bless you, Janet, for all you are doing to reach and help the hurting souls. Your generosity has been a blessing to Lonesome Road Ministry and many others out there on that Ole Lonesome Road. Keep up the good work, together we are making a difference!! |
