We have for you this month, "Broken By Sin,” it’s our 2nd CD/Podcast from our 2024 3 Fold Cord Conference. Richard Coss always does a great job of sharing testimonies and great messages at our conference, and yes he will be with us in 2025.

Broken By Sin, yes we all are, but we don’t have to stay broken. We can have Victory over Sin. You might ask, can we really have Victory over Sin? Yes it begins with understanding that Jesus took our shame to the cross and paid our penalty. We have to confess our Sin to God! Does that mean we have to tell everyone all the bad things we have done? “No”! It means we have to humble our hearts before God, and truly ask God to forgive us of all our sins. (He already knows all the things we have done.) When we repent and do that, we need to turn away from the wrong and choose to do right. Confronting guilt in this way, replaces the weight of shame in our heart with peace and joy, and an amazing side effect is that we have wisdom to share. We have a testimony we can share with others! We can be open about our past mistakes. When we lay our Sin at the feet of Jesus it allows us the forgiveness of our Savior Jesus Christ. We can reveal the Lord to those we come in contact with, family, friends, and whosoever by living our lives for Him. Through our testimonies and witness, God will reach others who need their guilt chains broken. We have a place for you to share your testimony and get it recorded so that you can witness to your family and friends no matter where they are. How, you ask? We want to partner with you to help you become all that God has called you to do.

We want to help you become that witness by sharing your testimony or the testimony of others with those you come in contact with. God has opened a huge door for us here at Lonesome Road Ministries to not only stretch this Net…Work across America, but to go into all the world via Radio and TV programs. I remember back in 2007 when God woke me up in the middle of the night and sent me to my Bible and had me open up the Scriptures to Revelation 3:8. Here is what I read, I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. From that day on Lonesome Road Ministries went to a new level. God opened a door for me to take my little tape and CD ministry to levels I never could have dreamed or imagined. All I had to do was have faith that God was the one speaking to me and to walk through the door that He had showed me! God told me that morning, He was going to make me an Oilfield Chaplain! I had never heard of such a thing and I googled it and could not find any Oil Field Chaplains, but I decided to take a step of faith and walk through the door God was opening for me. When I did God opened up so many opportunities, the small ministry I had, exploded into a huge ministry. God is opening a huge door for all of us to go to the next level and reach more people than we could ever imagine. The only one who can shut the door God is opening is you! Eyes On The Road

When driving a car, our eyes must always stay on the road in order to reach our destination. Certainly there are times we need to glance down to check gauges and make minor driving adjustments, but if we take our eyes off the road for an extended time we are sure to have an accident.
As Christians, God has commissioned us with a higher purpose for life with wonderful results that continue into eternity. We accomplish that purpose by keeping our eyes on Christ and our Heavenly destination. But as with driving, our attention must be divided between watching the road and watching our gauges. We all need to attend to the things of this life, like obtaining food, clothing and shelter for ourselves and family.
A problem arises when we are overly distracted by the details of life and get our eyes on attaining wealth, success and such. Ironically, we can quickly lose focus of God in our drive to secure comfort. When our eyes are off our eternal destination, it should come of no surprise when our spiritual life comes to an abrupt stop.
In eternity, if God asks why our spiritual-life crashed and brought no glory to Him, it will be embarrassing to admit we took our eyes off the Christian objective because we were too focused on personal objectives or texting the mundane things of this life.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6
