Fred was saved in June of 1974 aboard the USS Ranger off the coast of Viet Nam. After the service, he played drums for Gospel groups where he met his wife, Kitty. In 1976 God healed him from a tragic industrial accident which could have ended with him losing his hand; he was able to continue playing music for the Lord. In 2002 God healed him from prostate cancer.
Fred & Kitty have been married 47 years and still continue serving the Lord but in a most unusual way. Fred & His Feathered Friends is their exotic bird program using parrots of all kinds to help spread the gospel. They found out that anything you have a passion for, God can use to further the gospel.
