Dear Chaplain Gary
On Thursday January 16, 2020 I heard a sermon that changed my life. I had always wanted to do great things for God. Then I heard on this CD, God doesn't want us to do great things for Him, He wants us to do impossible things. God wants me to do impossible things through Him! After hearing Dr. David Gibbs share the story about an African Pastor friend of his who asked God to give him something impossible to do everyday. I ask God for the same thing. I asked God to let me win one soul to Jesus every day. The pastor friend of Dr. Gibbs said that God hasn't missed a day in seven years. I Though WOW! If God could do the impossible for him, He could do it for me too. All I have to do is ask. So I did, God hasn't missed a day since He and I started January 16, 2020. To God be the glory! Our Sunday school has gone from 75 to 104 as of last Sunday. Our worship service from 100 to 140, and we have baptized 10 and have 6 waiting for next Sunday. God is moving at Son Rise Church. All this in just a couple weeks I am looking forward to where God is taking us. brother Gary I will continue to pray for your ministry. Dear Lonesome Road we enjoy your CD'S so much hope this small donation helps your ministry. My husband and I use to be truckers and pass out your CD'S on the road. It has been a while since I first wrote you requesting prayer for my husband & cousin. When I first wrote you I was seeking God and listening to your CD'S every morning, even the mornings that I was high on Meth I still listened to the CD'S as tears flowed down my cheeks. thank you for sending them to me. Gary I thank you for praying for me the morning I stopped you in front of the post office. I'd never been so lost in my life I was terrified. I stayed in the darkness a while longer after that day. But I kept on seeking God and March 2nd 2019, God set me free from Meth. Wow, I have a year clean, glory to God all mighty. My husband and my cousin are both following Jesus everyday also. What an amazing journey this has been I'm so excited to see where God is taking us in our future.
