You Probably don’t remember us. We came down there several years ago. I had vacation time planned for mushroom season which came early that year. We decided to visit your ministry which was Rig at that time. Tony Mac was speaking in the upper room that week. So we had a really blessed week getting to meet Tony & Candy Mac, Mike & Carmel Adkins, Joe Arview and you and Linda. After the service that day you invited us to join all of you for lunch that day. We were impressed with your hospitality. We couldn’t believe you all were just normal people like us, what you see is what you get! We had a great time. We have supported your ministry monthly ever since. We have seen a lot of changes, all for the better I might add. Recently I started receiving disability from the VA. When I received my back pay I decided to wait on giving my tithe and see where the Lord wanted it to go. We just received your latest newsletter. We are sorry to hear that you are discontinuing the CD’S. We understand you must keep up with the technology and change for the ministry is necessary. I know you will do well in whatever the Lord leads you to do. We are sending you some extra money for CD’S of Mike Adkins, Tony Mac, Joe Arview, David Gibbs, Tim Lee, Terry Hopkins, 16 Roses, & Rose of Columbine. We hope to meet up with you again someday. I repeat we do not plan to discontinue the CD program until there is no more demand for the CD’s. I expect that to take several years to happen. Hey Gary, I’m wearing my Lonesome Road Ministries shirt today on our way to St. Louis for my Dr. Appointment and we stopped and ate at a truck stop for breakfast. What a great time we had at the 3 Fold Cord Conference this past weekend. We have attended every one since it began in 2013 and they just keep getting better and better, God never ceases to amaze! When the time came to give an offering for your new radio station, God spoke $600 into my spirit and believe you me that was 500 more than we had to give. So out of obedience I wrote the Check, but I post dated it for when I knew we would have it. It was a faith offering, but before we left the building someone came up to us and placed a check in our hands for $500, and on the way home someone sent us another $500 online and when we got home there was another $500 check in the mail. You can’t outgive God, is God good or what? Can you say it? Praise the Lord!!! So we want to encourage everyone to sow seed into this fertile ground here at Lonesome Road Ministries. I got a chance to witness to another trucker last Sunday. He and his wife came to church. I found out he was a trucker, owned his own truck. Gave him stories of how I met you at ICGMA and The CD . About the phone calls and messages we received from the CD’s . It really ministered to him and I got all emotional just looking back and seeing how God blessed me. I told him about the trucker that was at Dollar General in our town and The Lord said stop here. I went on by but had to turn around and go back. Found out he had the CD that I was on. I couldn’t believe it! It was so amazing. How did he get this particular CD with me on it!!?!? God showing himself mighty to let me know what I was doing mattered. Amen. He usually works on Sunday but got to come that day with his wife that had been visiting for a few Sunday’s already! So thankful and grateful! Anyway I’m taking CD’s to him to listen to and share with others. Praise God!! – Carol Barham.. Praise God Indeed!!! Just goes to show you God is interested in our everyday living. Gary, my stash of CD’S is running very low so please send me more. I set them out at Church on a table and they seem to disappear so fast. Please send 6 each of our favorites. 16 Roses, Stuck in a Box, Man Called Norman, Doing the Impossible, Motor Home Story, God is Attracted to Weakness & Ground Bees. We also love Ann Davenport Music, she is the best. So send us any of her music CD’S you can spare. We love to leave a $2 bill with your CD’S when we go out to eat at a restaurant. Hey, we saw in the May newsletter that you feel God has called you to start a Radio Ministry. Here is some seed money. You are willing to step up, and with God’s help, are able! No need to send us more boxes of CD’S We have some left. Gary, you and Linda are amazing (and faithful) we are humbled by your hearts. (Like King David) what you have done through God, is awesome. You have helped save! Mike & Jane Thiel Mike & Jane, I have been searching my office papers trying to find an article that was written about 1999 by Songwriters of Wisconsin International. I remember that is where we first met, I guess in a way. Although we have never actually met, we have been working together for mve been helping us all the way. I know you are a songwriter and now with my own radio station I would love to play some of your songs. So if you would like to send me some of them feel free to email me some mp3 files of your songs. I know you said you had plenty of CD’S, but I have mailed you my music CD’s and I just want you to know Lonesome Road Vol # 5 coming soon I hope, we will be looking for songs for the Road from artist just like you. The Ministry has made so many changes since any years now. From that SOWI newsletter to Lonesome Road Ministries, Orchardville Church, Rig Ministries and back to Lonesome Road Ministries you haGod spoke it into me in 1999 and I surrendered to the Call in October 2000.
