Dear Gary Hi, my name is Scott and I am an inmate in the Ohio prison system. I have been locked up for 30 years now, on a life sentence. I have known God my whole life, but I’m just now starting to truly know Him. I’ve started reading my Bible everyday and other religious material I can. Today the prison Chaplain came by and gave me some stuff to read. The book Real Life Story of Truckers edition # 1 was in there and your story was the first thing I read and it made me feel good. I’ve been having some rough days late and your story made me feel so much better. Thank you for the encouragement and inspiration. I figured I would take a chance and write you and say “Hi.” Wishing you a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year and I’m praying for you and your ministry. Your new Brother in Christ, Keep on truckin for Jesus, and thank you for putting your story in the book. Scott
Scott, Hope you got the material I sent to you. I know it is hard to get material to inmates. There are a few prisons we can actually get CD’S inside, so if you talk to your prison Chaplain have him contact me at the address below for CD’S & DVD’S to help those on the inside. Praying for you my new brother in Christ. Dear Brother Gary, Thank you for the comforting prayer. Being home alone on sick leave from work is stressful. I am looking forward to Lonesome Road Vol # 4 CD. Praying for everyone on that Ole Lonesome Road in 2023. Robert Gedritis
Robert, Hope you are enjoying the CD’S I sent you. Vol # 4 may be our best project yet. I know it’s in the top 5 for sure. LOL yes we have 5 music CD’S to date. Hello Lonesome Road, My name is Gregory and I would like to be apart of your bible study and pen pal program. I need a Christian friend to help me with my spiritual growth. I haven’t read a Bible in 20 years. I’m in a prison in Texas and need a friend.
God bless Greg, Praying for you brother. Wassup Gary, My name is Jordan, I’m currently incarcerated and I got this book today and your story was the first one I read. I can relate to the part where you was asking God to show you a sign, a big one cause i once said the same thing to God. I’m currently doing 90 days in the hole and I’m only a week in. I’m doing a 5 year bid but I’m finishing up. I get out Sept 5, 2023. That seems so far away when your in the hole and it is infested with mice and roaches. I have to sleep with the lights on and that still doesn’t stop the roaches from crawling all over you. They are everywhere. I have asked God to help me but I wonder does We were just in a 20 man riot, it all happened so fast. That’s the reason I am in the hole because I’m the leader of my gang. I decided to write maybe just to vent, or maybe for a prayer and to ask you should I still ask God to help me with this 90 days in the hole thing.
Jordan, God loves you and He is always wanting to hear from you. When you get serious with God! He will get serious with you! It is really that simple. God wants to hear from you and He wants to help you with all your problems, but you have to make a commitment with Him. Pray Lord Jesus forgive me for my sins, come into my heart and save me Lord. I will live the rest of my live just for you, amen. Jordan you have to pray that prayer with your heart. God wants to hear from your heart not your head. Get serious with God and pray and ask Him to clean up your life and He will do it for you just like He did it for me or anyone else. Dear Gary, I was walking out of a truck stop the other day and I saw a driver pick something up off the ledge of the window on his way out. I was walking behind him and he was reading what he picked up and then threw it on the ground. I walked on up to it and picked it up. It was a Lonesome Road CD called “Two Ordinary Men.” I went on out to my truck and got in and threw the CD up on my dash. I drove a couple days with that CD staring at me and I finally put into the CD player. After listening to that CD I gave my life to Christ. I prayed the prayer with Chaplain Gaylon Taylor and Jesus saved me driving down the road just like he did you. I felt like I was floating. I praise the Lord for your ministry and I thank God for your desire to see others saved. I’ve called everyone I know and told them what happened to me. I just wanted you to know thank you, Tony
WOW! thank you Jesus is all I can say! Dear Lonesome Road
I figured I should tell you, I just asked Jesus to come back into my life. Thank you so much! Keep my family, me and our lil logging business in your prayers I feel like I need to send you my life story I relate so much to some of the testimony on them. I’ll sit down and send it to you one day. I listened to stake your claim & Have You kissed a frog today back to back. I gave some of them to a guy that runs the sawmill where my logs go too. I told him to just keep passing them on to others! Brandon Hey Brandon I’m looking forward to the chance to meet you at our conference June 2023 or sooner if you get the chance to drop in. I am praising God with you that you have come back to the Lord, I praise the Lord for putting our lives on the same path. Thank you for the donation and more CD’s and cards are on the way. Hey Brother, I spent many years in the gangs of New York. Spent several years in prison and when I got out became a over the road driver. I picked up one of your CD’S titled “Two Ordinary Men”. Jose (Gangbanger) Looks like I am going to have to change my handle!

Thankyou and blessings & prayers Chaplain Larry Wrightsman Thank you Chaplain Larry for your continued support & prayers for the ministry. It is an honor to work with you and all the Channel 21 Ministry Chaplains stretching a net across America. Thank you for all you are doing on the road. Hello Gary, God has blessed us so much. I’m loving retirement. Less money but loving every minute of it. I’m working at a Christian School in Matton. Don’t know what my future driving trucks looks like. My shoulder is healing slowly but this opportunity opened because of the shoulder injury. God’s ways are interesting and amazing as we reflect on life's journey. I work just half a day five days a week and I love the kids. I am blessed & highly favored! Wayne
Hey Wayne, Thank you for all your faithful support and your prayers for this ministry. I’m looking forward to you coming down some day and sharing your testimony for the Radio program. I think it would be a great day. Give me a call if you’re interested you’re just a couple hours away. |
