Dear Gary Rayburn, I am a trucker and a born again Christian. The Lord has blessed me with a beautiful Christian woman to share my life with. I have been on the road for about 10 years now, we live in the great state of Tennessee. I remember pulling in a truck stop somewhere and on my way out I happened to look over and see some CD'S. I have picked up many a CD on the road but this one had your testimony and I just love the story you share how God gave you a sign "This One's for You." I am glad God placed you in the CD Ministry and the Lord has also placed me in the CD Ministry. I have enclosed one of my music CD'S for you to give a listen to. Maybe God wants us to work together. Feel free to use any of my songs in the Lonesome Road Ministry.
Thanks Brian check out next month's newsletter we are gonna be looking for songs!
Dear Chaplain Gary
I just wanted to thank you for sending more CD's. I enjoy them very much and look forward to leaving them in places for others to enjoy. I shared a couple of them with my family and they also enjoyed them. It feels good letting Jesus Lead the way. Perhaps, I can reach that point and let Jesus take full control. It is scary thing to do but it really shouldn't be. Free will is a tough area to let go of. It's hard, especially after listening to the Rose of Columbine. I am praying that I will be able to let go and let God have total control of my life. Thanks for your ministry Take care, Andrew
Andrew, Hey brother I am praying for you to do just that Let Go, and Let God have His way in your life. Thanks for all you do out on the road. Stay safe and we salute you and all the drivers who are doing a whole lot more than they think they are on the road.
Dear Brother Gary
Just a quick note to again tell you thanks for allowing me to be a part of your "Awesome Ministry."
Just want you to know how blessed & highly favored I feel to be on the Lonesome road Vol # 3 CD.
Please send me as many CD'S as you can, with the Lord's help I hope this will be the first of many monthly tithe checks. Since you guys are my In the Cab Church I am going to continue to bless you as you have blessed me. Love to all at Lonesome Road Ministries. Jim Scott
Love you Brother and I am proud to call you my new song writing partner. Along with Dennis McKay I think we came up with a good song to share with the drivers on that Ole Lonesome Road. Stay Safe out there on the front lines.
Dear Gary & everyone at Lonesome Road,
Got a nice testimony from Candy at the Stone Creek Truck Stop. She passed out some of the Lonesome Road CD's I left her to sample and the drivers loved them. They passed them on to other drivers and came back for more. I will be re-stocking her supply today. Thanks and God bless, Bob
Bob, I love to hear the good news about drivers listening and sharing them with Others! It is also great to hear about the Truck stop people getting involved. Keep up the good work brother.
Dear Chaplain Gary
On Thursday January 16, 2020 I heard a sermon that changed my life. I had always wanted to do great things for God. Then I heard on this CD, God doesn't want us to do great things for Him, He wants us to do impossible things. God wants me to do impossible things through Him! After hearing Dr. David Gibbs share the story about an African Pastor friend of his who asked God to give him something impossible to do everyday. I ask God for the same thing. I asked God to let me win one soul to Jesus every day. The pastor friend of Dr. Gibbs said that God hasn't missed a day in seven years. I Though WOW! If God could do the impossible for him, He could do it for me too. All I have to do is ask. So I did, God hasn't missed a day since He and I started January 16, 2020. To God be the glory!
Our Sunday school has gone from 75 to 104 as of last Sunday. Our worship service from 100 to 140, and we have baptized 10 and have 6 waiting for next Sunday. God is moving at Son Rise Church. All this in just a couple weeks I am looking forward to where God is taking us. brother Gary I will continue to pray for your ministry.
God bless Brother Steve Pickern
Pastor Steve, God bless you for such a powerful testimony for all of us. all we need to do is ask with a repentant and willing heart and God can do the impossible in our lives. Thank you for your support and your continued prayers.
Dear Lonesome Road we enjoy your CD'S so much hope this small donation helps your ministry. My husband and I use to be truckers and pass out your CD'S on the road. Now we are retired & still pass out the CD's to people we meet. Thank you for all the good blessings you distribute. In Christ Beverly & Larry in Florida
Love you guys and I appreciate you being a part of Lonesome Road. Together we are making a difference. Keep up the good work on your end and we will keep on doing our part here on our end.
Dear Gary & everyone at Lonesome Road,
It has been a while since I first wrote you requesting prayer for my husband & cousin. When I first wrote you I was seeking God and listening to your CD'S every morning, even the mornings that I was high on Meth I still listened to the CD'S as tears flowed down my cheeks. thank you for sending them to me. Gary I thank you for praying for me the morning I stopped you in front of the post office. I'd never been so lost in my life I was terrified. I stayed in the darkness a while longer after that day. But I kept on seeking God and March 2nd 2019, God set me free from Meth. Wow, I have a year clean, glory to God all mighty. My husband and my cousin are both following Jesus everyday also. What an amazing journey this has been I'm so excited to see where God is taking us in our future. God Bless you at Lonesome Road Ministries you are saving souls, thanks again Anna
God Bless You Anna you will continue to be in our prayers here at Lonesome Road Ministries. Keep listening to the CD's and keep following Jesus.
Thank so much for all the CD'S. We are setting up an area at the Church for the CD'S. Also I contacted a Truck stop in Inola, OK yesterday, they were open to letting me put up a display but said I would have to talk to the guy in charge. Bob in Owasso, Ok.
Hey Bob, Thank you so much for your help and support. Praying for your meeting to go well with the truck stop manager. Keep us posted.
Dear Chaplain Gary
I cannot thank you enough for these Cd'S. The Great White Thrown Judgement will really touch hearts. When I listened to a man called Norman I cried, that is so true. It will touch many lives. Can you send me some more of those and also Listen to His Voice. My brother was a pilot, I laughed so hard I can*t wait to get more of that one also. My brother*s kids live in Alabama so as soon as I get done listening I am going to pass them out and send some out of state.
He touched my life inside out, praise His holy name. My great grandson works on 18 wheelers so I am going to have him take them to work and let them help themselves and put some in the trucks. I will keep you and the ministry in my prayers. I am a widow but I am sending an offering to help.
Well Gary God bless you and all those drivers that travel those Lonesome roads. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. Also for the newsletters and the book marks. Love in Christ Jean in Pasadena, TX
Jean, thank you for joining the Lonesome road family. Through your prayers and support and you passing on the CD'S we are making a difference in so many more lives. When you need more CD's all you have to do is give us a shout!
I hope this small offering helps keep the lights on and bless you for everything you do for us trucker's and keeping the word of God alive out here on that Ole Lonesome Road, Your Brother in Christ. Stony
