Matthew 12:30 He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad" Great Message this month with Dave Wall & Pat Bayman. Dave came from Michigan & Pat came from Ohio, just to be a part of Lonesome Road Radio & our Podcast/CD program. We really had a great couple of days and hated to see them leave, but the good news is they will be back for our 3 Fold Cord Conference June 23.24.25. The message by David on this program is so powerful, I felt compelled to share it with everyone on this month’s podcast/CD. It reminded me of a story I read in the “Real Life Stories Book Truckers Edition,” on page 65. If you don’t have one of these great testimony books contact me and I will ship you your very own copy. We have too many who are sitting on the fence. In Matthew 12:30 Jesus says, “He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.” It’s time to get off the fence and Go for Jesus! Check out our short video presentation below, for the upcoming comference! Click on pointed arrow in the center of the presentation. Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
What are you asking for? This is a powerful message by Dr. David Gibbs that was sent to me by one of our partners out in Colorado, (Ken Wolf.)
I called Ken up and thanked him for sending me this wonderful message by David Gibbs. Ken told me he just loved David Gibbs and listens to him all the time and when he heard this message he knew he needed to send it to me. Ken said I’ve been listening to David Gibbs ever since I heard my first message by him that I had sent to him years ago. This is such an encouraging message that after I listened to it. I contacted David Gibbs office and invited him to speak at our conference June 28,29,30 next year in 2024. So I am asking all of you to be in prayer with me that God will direct David Gibbs to come and join us in 2024. That is what I am asking for after listening to this podcast. As you listen to the CD/Podcast, pray and ask God for something impossible in your life and then call us or write to us and we can pray about it together. We are praying for God to bless us in ways that we never thought or imagined and you need to pray that way too. To bless in the biblical sense means to ask for or to impart supernatural favor. When we ask God’s blessing, we’re not asking for more of what we could get for ourselves, we are crying out for unlimited goodness that only God has the power to know about or to give us. This kind of richness is what I believe the writer of Proverbs 10:22 is saying. The Lord’s blessing is our greatest wealth, all our works adds nothing to it. In other words it’s not about us, it’s always about Him (Jesus) and always about reaching and helping others. God is looking for those who want to do more for Him! So why not ask? God’s bounty is limited only by us, not by His resources, power, or willingness to give. God has something bigger for each one of us no matter where we are right now. That is not where God is going to leave us! We all have seasons in life when we feel overwhelmed. When unexpected things happen, we can be tempted to get discouraged. We may feel like we don’t have what it takes, or we may feel weak. Anytime you feel this way, you have to realize that feelings aren’t facts. The truth of the matter is that God wants each one of us to get to the big pool in our life. When we get in over our heads that's when you learn to swim. We need to get filled up to overflowing and go out and splash on someone else's life. When we make our life about helping others, that is when we find the real rewards of life. In the words of my mentor ( Ray Sisk), “Others, yes others, let this my motto be! Help me to live for others Lord, so that I might live for thee!” Scripture says, when you feel weak, that’s when God’s strength rises in you. His strength will overcome any opposition you may face. So together through prayer we can do the impossible. So join with me and let’s pray for the impossible to happen in our lives and our friends & families lives.
Our 10th year will be a very special conference. We are celebrating by bringing Gaylon Taylor, who God spoke to about doing a 3 Fold Cord Conference way back in 2012 in to be one of our speakers. Darrell Spicer had just started Channel 21 Ministries and was very excited about working with our Ministry and Gaylon Taylor’s Ministry, so we decided it would be a Three Fold Cord Conference with the 3 ministries combining to host the conference. Our first conference was in 2013 at Carmi and this year will be our 10th Anniversary of the conference.
The conference will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 23 with some great music by many of our Lonesome Road family; James Payne, Sonshine Road, Roger Barkley, Jr. & the Redemption Band, Jim & Ann Davenport, Ava Kasich, Mike Wellman, The McKay Project, Bill Schell, Joe Arview, & David Brown. We also have some great speakers lined up for this years conference. Our Friday speakers will be Richard Coss, my Pastor Rick Hays speaking @ 4:30 right before the fish fry, so come hungry there will be food for the body and the soul. After the fish fry we will have music & word by James Payne. Saturday we start with breakfast for everyone at 8 a.m. with the conference beginning at 9:30 a.m. with music. Gaylon Taylor will be speaking Saturday morning along with James Payne who will bring us another great word at noon followed by another great meal furnished and provided by Lonesome Road Ministries. Our speakers for Saturday afternoon will be Bill Schell & Pastor Richie Turnbo. Sunday Morning we will move the conference to Orchardville Church like we did last year and Gary Rayburn will be bringing the message on Sunday morning. Everyone is invited and we are expecting a full house this year. So come early for a good seat! Free admission, free food for the body & soul, so come join us and bring a friend. Gary RayburnI logged over 4 million miles as a truck driver from 1972 - 2007 and I have written a lot of it in my songs. God has taken me off the road and put me into full time ministry, but I still have a heart for all you drivers out there. Archives
