3 Fold Cord Conference
Ecclesiastes 4:12 And if one prevails against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.
What If? What if every Church and Ministry was to get together for one cause, wonder what we could all do together? What if, what if all the Church*s and Ministries got together and decided to win Our City, Our County and the surrounding area for Jesus. What if we put our denominations aside for one cause, one reason, to win our area for Jesus and to see souls saved, people healed, people changed. What if there was a way we could all work together and agree that people need Jesus in their lives? I wonder what would happen to our homes, schools and our community. It*s sad that it takes a tragedy like a devastating storm of some kind to get people to pull together. The bible tells us a threefold cord is not easily broken. Jesus said; *A house divided against itself will not stand. Together we can withstand the storms that are headed our way, divided we will fall.
Lonesome Road Ministries, Channel 21 Ministries and Trinity Assembly of God will be holding our annual Ministry conference at 1600 Saunders Ave Carmi, IL. at Trinity Assembly of God Church June 21,22,23 bringing in Ministries from all across America that we can learn from and work together with. This is a free Conference beginning @ 6 pm Friday Night June 21 with our meet and greet and then James Payne will be with us Friday Night @ 7:30 for a powerful concert.
Saturday the 22nd will will begin at 8 AM with a free Breakfast provided by Trinity Assembly of God Church and the 1st service will be at 10 AM and we will continue all day with testimonies, great music and maybe just a little bit of preaching. We will also be providing a great lunch that day and it is all free.
You will get to hear from many of your favorites you hear on the Lonesome Road CD's and Radio programs like Joe Arview, Bill Schell, Candy McMullen Michelle McMullen, Richard Coss, Jim and Ann Davenport, Sonshine Road, The McKay Project & others to be announced later.
We want to invite every Church and every Ministry to come and join with us and see how we can take back our communities. We want to invite everyone who would like to see their community, their area changed for the better. It's time to take the banners off our doors and band together to win our family, friends and neighbors. We might not reach everyone, but what about the one's we do reach! The Bible says "One can put a thousand to flight, two can put ten thousand to flight." There is nothing the devil fears more than Christians who are united. This means that his number one tactic is to bring disunity in the Church. If he can succeed, then the Church is crippled. Jesus spoke about the power of agreement in Matthew 18:19: "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven." Don't put any limitation on this Scripture. Jesus says what He means. We can receive anything if we agree about it in prayer.
Change, We are facing another big change in our Ministry here at Lonesome Road Ministries. Trucks and Cars are coming out without CD players. Computers are being made without CD drives. We have been doing Podcast for a few years now and we have a radio program that we do on several internet radio stations, along with several Fm radio stations and we can be heard on Sirrus/XM Radio Channel 146 on the Tim Ridley Show M-F and The Dave Nemo show on Sunday Mornings. We have our website where you can listen online or watch our programs We will continue to send out our newsletters each month and you will have the option of sending us a message via email, text or phone call (we love hearing from our listeners) or you can use the envelope we send with our newsletters to drop us a line and request the monthly CD or more CD's to share with family, friends, and neighbors. We really love getting letters to share in the Ole mail bag. Our email, cell phone and mailing address can be found in the header of this newsletter. We look forward to hearing from many of our listeners as we Refocus our Ministry into finding new ways to reach our family, friends & neighbors.
Here is how you can access our podcast. lonesomeroad.org or https://rigpodcast.podomatic.com/ So let us hear from those who want to continue receiving the CDS!!!!

Romans 8:28 (KJV) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
I remember reading my Bible one day and coming across this Scripture and the words The Called jumped off the page and God spoke to me and said "that's you, you are The Called."
God has something special, something unique for each and every one of us if we will just reach out and grab it. Most of the time it requires us getting out of the boat, or getting out of our comfort zone. Many times it has us doing things we just aren't capable of doing but with God all things are possible.
We are The Called, we are the hands and feet of Christ. He has a plan for each and every one of us who call out to Him and say here am I send me, use me Lord. The Bible says He knew us and formed us in our mother*s womb. He chose us to become like His Son. He chose us to become Christ like or in today*s terms Christians. Romans 8: 30 says And having chosen them, He called them to come to Him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with Himself and haven given them right standing, He gave them His glory.
We have the Glory of God himself all over us if we choose to walk in His glory.
What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since He did not spare even His own Son but gave Him up for us all, won*t He also give us everything else?
God wants to give us the desires of our heart when we put others first. When we make our life*s about reaching and helping others!
God is searching for His chosen people to stand up and claim the promise He has for us! I was 43 when I got saved and 48 years old when I surrendered to The Call God had on my life. It*s not too late for you to surrender to The Call God has for your life. After all Moses was 80 years old when he surrendered to The Call on his life and look what God used him to do! What is God calling you to do for His Kingdom? Stand up and say, "Here Am I Lord Use Me....
Have You Heard?

I remember reading my Bible one day and coming across this Scripture and the words The Called jumped off the page and God spoke to me and said "that's you, you are The Called."
This months cd/podcast
1 Corinthians 12:4-7 Says; "There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all. There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord. God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us. A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.
The Holy Spirit has gifted each believer for specific work in God's kingdom. Scripture explains this idea by comparison with a human body: each person has gifts and purposes that make the entire system function well. But if the big toe wants the job of the eyes, the whole being will lose balance. Each part is crucial, even though some are less noticeable than others. Truthfully, those with less apparent talents have an advantage because pride and self-sufficiency may be less of a temptation. Everyone can do something for Jesus. We can all play a part in Kingdom work. Jesus tells each one of us to "Go Ye Therefore"
We can all do something for Jesus, pass out a tract give someone a cd. This is a ministry anyone can get involved in by passing on our Lonesome Road cd's to a family member, friend or neighbor. It's called the Great Commission and can be found in Matthew chapter 28: 16-20. Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them and when they saw him, they worshiped him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
In Mark's Gospel Jesus tells us Go Ye Therefore into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. And in Luke's Gospel Jesus tells us Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things. Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high.
And we find that power in the book of Acts written in red. Jesus tells us that we can have this power in Acts Chapter 1:8 the Scripture tells us, But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. In today's language this verse says to me, But you shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me (Jesus) in your city, and in your State, and in your Country, and to the uttermost parts of the world. The power of the Holy Spirit is ours for the asking, so ask God how he can use you. Just say "Here am I Lord, use Me." You'll be surprised if you will just ask. And yes that goes for Lonesome Road too! I have asked and God is sending us on the Road in 2019 along with Chaplain Darrell Spicer of Channel 21 Ministries and Dennis and Leslie McKay (The McKay Project). The McKay project will be ministering in testimony along with some of their great music. Darrell and I will be sharing with folks about how God is tying our ministries together to stretch a net across America. We will be sharing some great testimonies of drivers lives being changed.

Lonesome Road Ministries Hosts Sixth Annual 3 Fold Cord Conference
Written by SGN Scoops Magazine Staff for their December Magazine...
Lonesome Road Ministries Hosts 6th Annual 3 Fold Cord Conference
Lonesome Road Ministries recently hosted their sixth annual 3 Fold Cord Conference in Carmi, Illinois, to celebrate the life changing work that God is doing on the highways throughout the country.
Lonesome Road Ministries was started by Gary Rayburn as a tape ministry to truck drivers in early 2000. It has evolved into a *whosoever will* ministry that distributes thousands of free CDs each month with music, testimonies, and messages about the love of Jesus through their mailing list and the network of 150 plus Channel 21 chaplains around the country.
\Barbara Fairchild and Roy Morris
The ministry has expanded to also include radio programs on several stations around the country plus a television show. Lonesome Road Ministries is truly *a church without walls* as they receives calls and messages daily about the life changing effects of sharing the gospel through the various ministry outlets.
James Payne and McKay Project
Six years ago Lonesome Road Ministries (formerly RIG Ministries) decided to start the 3 Fold Cord Conference in Carmi, Illinois as a way to bring drivers from around the country together and those partnered with the ministry for a few days to celebrate the life changing work that God is doing through the CD ministry. They decided on the name 3 Fold Cord Conference because of the principle found in Ecclesiastes 4:12 which says, And if someone overpowers one person, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not easily broken.
The 2018 conference was held recently at Trinity Assembly of God which is the new home to Lonesome Road Ministries. It is an honor to partner with Lonesome Road Ministries, Chaplain Gary, and his staff. The work they do daily to spread the gospel around the USA is in line with our mission at TAG (Trinity Assembly of God). When Lonesome Road needed a new home for their ministry, it was a NO Brainer for us at Trinity Assembly of God to step up to the challenge. Soul winning is our heart. Most importantly, soul winning is GOD's heart!! The 3 Fold Conference was exactly what we prayed it would be: uplifting, inspiring, and challenging. Soul winning through sharing personal testimonies is the Gospel at its best! Pastor Lee Hicks, Trinity Assembly of God
The 3 Fold Cord Conference was jammed packed with music, prayer, testimonies, preaching, fellowship, food, laughter, celebration and so much more. The conference kicked off on Friday at noon and continued through Sunday at noon. The weekend featured artists and speakers from around the country such as Barbara Fairchild and Roy Morris, James Payne, McKay Project, Joe Arview and family, Dan Duncan, Roger Barkley, Jr., Sonshine Road, Jim and Ann Davenport, Jackie Bowling, and Bill Schell.
There were many amazing moments throughout the weekend. Gary Rayburn shared recorded testimonies and we heard personal testimonies from those in attendance about the impact of Lonesome Road Ministries on their lives. Thousands of letters were laid out on the altar and we were called on to come up and pray over those needs and thank God for the blessings. On Saturday, Pastor Lee Hicks of Trinity Assembly of God, challenged everyone to go deeper and get out of our comfort zone.
Other highlights during the weekend included a Friday night session with music and testimony by Barbara Fairchild and Roy Morris. Of course, a gathering such as this wouldn't have been complete without great food and volunteers. A team of wonderful ladies from Trinity Assembly of God provided food for everyone on Friday night, Danny and Roda Dennis of Rodan Trucking provided lunch for everyone on Saturday, and Kevin Whitten of God's Grill provided lunch on Sunday. We honor those wonderful volunteers for giving of their time and resources to bless everyone that attended the conference.
We had some great participation from my new church family, Trinity Assembly of God. They went above and beyond anything I expected from them. We had great participation from our youth in our church. The ladies were great with decorating the church and gymnasium to making sure the hospitality room was stocked up. I can't say enough good things about Trinity. The men were great in helping set up tables, parking, security, cleanup crews, and shuttle drivers for our truckers who had to park about a mile away. The sound crew was excellent and we appreciate Jack Baker Photography for all the great pictures.
Of course, I want to say a very special thanks to my Pastors Lee and Robin Hicks. Without their support and bringing Lonesome Road Ministries to Trinity, we couldn't have continued this conference. This was our sixth year and by far the best as far as participation. I am looking forward to our seventh 3 Fold Cord Conference in June 2019.

Is there such a thing as "the perfect gift? At Christmas time, shoppers go in search of it. Everyone wants his or her gift to be just what those special people in our life have always wanted. The things that people really want to make their lives better, can't be bought from a store. I'm talking about good health, peace of mind, financial security, and long life to name a few.
I remember when my children were little, at Christmas time they would always make something for me and Linda and wrap them up and put them under the Christmas tree. Those presents were gifts of Love and how precious they were. Even though these were some of the most precious gifts and bring some great memories to the mind, there is still one gift that is even greater than any gift we could ever hope for or even imagine.
The gift that can provide the missing elements of our lives. Best of all, anyone who knows where to find it can tell you where to get it, free of charge. Sound to good to be true? Yes but this is one gift that delivers what it promises.
God presented this perfect gift to the world over 2,000 years ago. His son, Jesus, was born in a stable in Bethlehem to a humble carpenter and his betrothed, a virgin named Mary. There was no get-together to celebrate the blessed event, only a star casting down its light from the night sky.
During the Christmas holiday, Christians celebrate Jesus birth as the beginning of something wonderful. Without His birth, there could not have been a victorious death at Calvary and eternal salvation for every believer. Jesus life upon this earth was short, but he left behind a lifetime of teaching.
God's love became real through Jesus Christ. Those who longed to know that God cared about them had at last found comfort. On August 13,1995 at the age of 43 driving down the road in a semi truck I cried out to Jesus to save me! And he did! Now, I have a friend who will never disappoint me and a Father who answers when I call.
Remember the things I mentioned earlier: good health, peace of mind, financial freedom, and long life? God provides all of this to whosoever ask through his Son.
Would you like to know where to find God's greatest gift? He's as close as your knees are to the floor. Tell him that you want him to become a part of your life. Ask him to forgive your sins and make your heart and mind whole again. The greatest gift of all, is yours for the asking.

August 13th 1995 at the age of 43 I gave my heart to the Lord while driving my semi down I-39 one day. For the next two years all I wanted to do was read my bible and pray God use me I want to be your servant. I remember the first tape I picked up on the road it was in Va. at a truck stop in 1999. There was a whole big basket full of tapes and the sign said Gospel Sunrise free tapes listen carefully and then pass them on. I remember listening to them tapes and just loving them and thinking this is just what I need out here on this Ole Lonesome Road. After that I started searching the truck stops for more of those tapes. I remember well the day that God spoke to me in 1999 and told me to start a tape ministry. It was after I had stopped and picked up a tape in a truck stop in Ga. I remember putting that tape in the tape player and this big friendly booming voice came on and Ray Sisk started talking to me like he was sitting in the cab with me. The tape said I-20 for Jesus and God spoke to me through that tape. He told me this is your ministry this is how I'm going to use you. I want you to start a tape ministry!
God said put my testimony on a tape and put some of the songs He had been giving me on the tape and start passing them out on the road! He told me the tapes are to reach the lost and the broken hearted and the tapes are to be free. I called the number on that tape and talked to Ray Sisk several times and he would encourage me and after a year of struggling with this call I surrendered in Oct. of 2000.
I started the Lonesome Road Tape Ministry for Truckers out on the road. I was at the time an over the road trucker so I made tapes on the weekend (about 25 a week) and took them with me on the road and handed them out to drivers through the week. God has continued to grow this ministry and He continues to send me solid Christians like you to help keep this ministry alive reaching thousands all across America. Today we are closing in on 2 million free CDs given away. I feel that God has opened a brand new door for Lonesome Road Ministries. God has called me to stretch a net across America using the truckers and Faith based trucking companies to bring in the Harvest. God has laid on my heart the next step in this ministry is to start a Truck Stop Crusade bringing the Gospel to the drivers right where they are, in the truck stop and to continue supplying the drivers with our CD's, Podcast and Radio programs. We need help, Churches, Trucking Companies, Drivers to get involved making a difference. Together we can reach our family, friends and our neighbors. I have put together a short introduction to our ministry and what we are all about. This short introduction CD is less than 7 minutes long so I pray you will help me get this introduction CD in the hands of your Pastor and Church board, or your Trucking Company. We need your help! Drivers we want to reach all across America using the trucking Companies that want to help their drivers and their driver's families at home. If you would please contact me and let me send you a package with this introduction CD and some information about the Ministry along with some of our pressing needs. I think we will increase our ministry and outreach. Remember one can put a thousand to flight but two can put ten thousand to flight. It doesn't double when we tie ourselves together it Quantum leaps.
Ecclesiastes 4:12 Says * And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.* So many of you have tied yourselves to this ministry with your time, talent, resources, and love offerings and we appreciate each and every one of you and I know I can depend on you to help with this "Brand New Thang" God has laid on our heart. Many others who have never been able to help, now is your chance to get involved in something that will change America. Will you take a stand for America today by helping stretch this net across our great Country? Call us, write to us, or email me and ask for the introduction CD and the packet of information about our ministry to give to your Trucking Company or your Church pastor and Church board. God bless you for your help and support in this ministry. And remember God Loves you and we do too! Talk at you later:

I logged over 4 million miles as a truck driver from 1972 - 2007 and I have written a lot of it in my songs. God has taken me off the road and put me into full time ministry, but I still have a heart for all you drivers out there.
