 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"    This month’s CD/Podcast is by our good friend Danny Dennis. Danny has a great testimony, he got saved in his late 50’s and has been trucking for Jesus in the “Hammer Lane” ever since. The Bible says in Acts 2:21, “and it shall be, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” In Romans Chapter 10 verses 9-13 the Bible says, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.” We would like to invite you to ask Jesus Christ into your heart today so that he can fully show himself to you. His plan and purpose for your life are truly awesome. Just remember that no matter what you have done in the past or will ever do in the future, either good or bad, can ever compare to the peace and contentment that will overtake you when you humbly surrender your life back into the hands of your heavenly father. You can do that by simply praying this simple prayer out loud. Heavenly Father, I ask you to please, please, forgive me. I invite Jesus Christ into my life as my Lord and as my Savior. I believe Jesus died for my sins. His blood was shed so that I could be forgiven and I believe that he has been raised from the dead. I surrender my life to you Jesus and I accept You as my Lord from this moment forward. I receive the forgiveness of sins through your shed blood, Jesus. Take out my old heart, Lord, and give me a new heart, a new spirit, a new life and I will follow you, with your help, by your grace, all the days of my life.  Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, (Ordinary) they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.   This month’s CD/Podcast is from our archives but it still remains one of our most requested programs. The drivers out on the road just love this message because it’s just two old dinosaur truckers (Gaylon’s words) just sitting down and having a conversation with drivers out on that ole Lonesome Road. The Bible says, in 1 Corinthians 1;27 “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, & God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.” Gaylon & I are living proof of this Scripture. We were just ordinary truck drivers when God called us into ministry. Just like those ordinary fishermen in the Bible, God called them to be fishers of men. God is looking for the ordinary so He can make extraordinary out of you. One of my very favorite verses in the Bible is Acts Chapter 4 verse 13, and my favorite part is when the religious people saw the boldness of these two ordinary men they marveled and was surprised and they realized that these men had been with Jesus. The fact that they had been with Jesus gave them a power to do the extraordinary. When was the last time someone noticed that you had been with Jesus? If you go back to Acts Chapter one you find these men being filled with the Holy Spirit and being given an extraordinary power. In verse 8 the Bible says they received power to be witnesses for Jesus in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. God wants us to have that power to witness to our family, friends and our neighbors. Being Filled with the Holy Spirit is God giving you power to help you say NO! to sin! Power to read His word each day. Power to pray each day. Power to keep your marriage strong. Power of forgiveness. Power to well, you fill in the blanks! The Holy Spirit gives us a boldness to do the extraordinary to be more than we ever thought or dreamed possible if we will just step out in faith. Even when we think we can’t, the Holy Spirit is our teacher. The Bible says in Luke 12 verses 11 & 12, now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” And also in 1 Corinth 2:13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. When we are saved the Bible says the Holy Spirit comes to live in us, Ephesians 1 verse 13 & 14 says: In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory. The whole key to this is what we do with the gifts and powers that God gives us through the Holy Spirit. It’s up to us, what we do with this man called Jesus that lives in our heart! Jesus spoke about the power of agreement in Matthew 18:19: "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven." Don't put any limitation on this scripture. Jesus says what He means. We can receive anything if we agree about it in prayer. The Bible says that one can put a thousand to flight, but two could put ten thousand to flight. If we work together in unity we can reach our area for Christ. We can make a difference in someone’s life today.  This month's CD/Podcast is an oldie but a goodie! Dominos is a message James preached several years ago. The message that James Payne brings in this podcast/CD is the story of the founder of Domino's pizza and how he figured out if the people won't come to him to get pizza, then he would deliver!! Now thanks to that virus Satan sent, called COVID, what the devil meant for harm God has used this stumbling block as a stepping stone to raise America up to a new level. The Churches have now learned how to do that Domino's thing and take the message to the homes and the vehicles wherever the people are. About all your Churches are now streaming their messages on Facebook or Youtube to the homes of people not only in their area, but all across the country and around the world. The trucking industry has know for years if we are going to reach this country we have take the Gospel message to where the people are. We must stretch a net all across America for the harvest time is near. When we all start working together we can "Take America Back." Mark 16:15 says, "Go Ye Therefore, into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature." Jesus went to where the people were and preached the Gospel to them, right where they were!! This is where Church on the Road began. Most of Jesus sermons were out among the people and not inside the Church buildings. I remember reading my Bible one day and coming across this Scripture and the words The Called jumped off the page and God spoke to me and said that's you, you are The Called. God has something special, something unique for each and every one of us if we will just reach out and grab it. Most of the time it requires getting out of the boat, or getting out of our comfort zone. Many times it has us doing things we just aren't capable of doing, but with God all things are possible. We are The Called, We are the hands and feet of Christ. He has a plan for each and every one of us who call out to Him and say, "here am I send me, use me Lord." Romans 8:30 say's "And having chosen them, He called them to come to Him. And having called them, He gave them right standing with Himself. And having given them right standing, He gave them is glory. We have the Glory of God himself all over us if we choose to walk in His glory. God wants to give us the desires of our heart when we put others first. When we make our lives about reaching and helping others! God is searching for His chosen people to stand up and claim the promise He has for you! I was 43 when I got saved and 48 years old when I surrendered to The Call God had on my life. It's not too late for you to surrender to The Call God has for your life. After all Moses was 80 years old when he surrendered to The Call on his life and look what God used him to do! What is God calling you to do for His Kingdom? God is stretching a net across America using the trucking industry and the Churches that are willing to get outside of their walls, to reach lost and hurting communities all across America. Saturday morning the conference resumes with a free breakfast @ 8AM. Then we will have a messages by Chaplain Charles Stephens. What A powerful testimony we have for you this month. Roger states in his testimony he decided he wanted to be a difference maker and started praying and asking God to make him a “Difference Maker’” God isn't looking for impressive people; He wants willing ones who will bow their knee in humble submission. Being weak and ordinary doesn't make you useless. Rather, it positions you for a demonstration of divine power in your life. He takes insignificant ones and delights in making them great. In this month’s podcast/CD, you are going to hear some powerful testimonies about letting your light so shine so that OTHERS will see Jesus in you! In Matthew Chapter 5:14-16, we find one of the most quoted verses in the Bible. You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor, do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Hide it under a bushel? NO!!! Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. It’s time to get out of the pews and hit the streets! Luke 14:23 one of my favorite verses says; And the Lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. Jesus is saying to us in His word; “You are the light of the world.” Remember how on fire you were to tell others what happened to you when you first got saved? That is the reason I like sharing my testimony so much it takes me back to the day I met Jesus out on that highway. I love this story in Luke Chapter 24 how the two men were on the road to Emmaus and Jesus came along side of them and talked with them beginning with Moses and telling them all the things the Scriptures had to say about himself. And when their eyes were open to who He was, they said did not our hearts burn within us? John calls Him "the life that is the light of men," "the light that shines in the darkness" (John 1:4-5). That light is in us, His light, the Holy Spirit that lives within us. The apostle Paul speaks of "the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ" (2 Corinthians 4:4). We have that light shining through our lives if our actions reflect the nature of Christ, His love, compassion, and forgiveness. His light shines through our attitudes, words, and deeds. When people see that our lives have been changed, they will see Jesus in us, and see the power of God at work in us. In Hebrews 10: 32 the apostle Paul says, “but recall the former days in which, after you were illuminated.” Our hearts should burn with passion to tell others about Jesus and what he has done in our lives. When people look at us, are they seeing Jesus? Are we shining for Jesus? It is a choice we must make each day. We are to take up our cross daily and follow Jesus! It is up to us to be a light, and carry the anointing! It’s time for us to take the Church on the Road! Let us help you take the Church to your family, friends, & neighbors. Tim & Missy Kinchen (Chronicle) will be with us this year, Also David Timms will be joining us this year for the first time! We have many who have been with us since the beginning, Joe Arview, Jim and Ann Davenport, Bill Schell, they plan on being here with us. We have also gained a whole lot of great partners over the years like Roger Barkley Jr. and the Redemption Band, Sonshine Road, Ava Kasich, Tamie Pernie, David Wall. "I know, I know!" a little boy exclaimed, "pantyhose!"

Six-year-old Ned's mother was looking through an old family Bible when an oak leaf fell out. Ned said, "I guess that must be Adam's shorts."      Good News friends, 2024 is the acceptable year of the Lord!!! God is looking for a place to Happen! He is looking for willing vessels to fill up with His Spirit so that those vessels can pour out on OTHERS! I believe that God is wanting to anoint you, those who are a person after God's heart to be that vessel on the road or in your home town to preach the Gospel to all who will have an ear to hear. That doesn't mean you have to start a church where you are because wherever you are, you are the Church. The best sermon you could ever preach is your own testimony of how God brought you out of the darkness into His marvelous light. It's time for all of us to step into the next level that God is trying to raise us up too. God has brought us all together to be a family, and together we can do more than we ever thought or dreamed possible. The vision is clear we are to continue the work that God has given us to unite ministries and work together to reach Whosoever! Whenever! Wherever! & However! We are to continue to work with all the great ministries that are a part of this 3 Fold Cord and continue to bring in more Ministries, Churches, Christian Companies that want to make a difference in their employees and their employees’ families. Ecclesiastes 4:12 says; Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him and a threefold cord is not easily broken. Working together we can become stronger and do 10 times as much as working alone. In Psalms 133:1 the Bible says; Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! There is nothing the devil fears more than Christians who are united. This means that his number one tactic is to bring disunity in the Church. If he can succeed, then the Church is crippled. Let's continue to work together and watch God do what only God can do. We are going to see miracles happen in our lives, our Ministries, our Churches, our Businesses, and our Families. He wants to enlarge each one of us, but we must enlarge our vision and efforts. Last month I told you how God sent Rick Jey of Global Media OTT into our lives to help raise us up to the next level of streaming TV. This is an opportunity for all of us to go to that next level. The Bible says in Jude, And some have compassion making a difference. We might not make a difference to all those on the road but we can make a difference to the ones that do hear our radio, podcast, CD & now TV programs that we have on the road. Together we can make a difference touching and changing lives all across our home towns, across America and around the world with Lonesome Road Radio and Lonesome Road TV. The Bible says that one can put a thousand to flight, but two could put ten thousand to flight. If we work together in unity we can reach our area for Christ. We can make a difference in someone’s life today. God wants to do a new thing in each one of us, is anything too hard for God?
