 John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.    When we read the verse John 10:10 it starts out as bad news but if we continue to read, we reach the "Good News." Jesus says He has come that we might have life, but not only that but we might have life more abundantly! That's "Good News." Many people live their lives always looking at the bad news, but if we turn that bad news coin over we will find the "Good News." Which side of the coin are you looking at? If you live your life with a defeated attitude you will live a defeated life. But if you live your life expecting to receive good things from God you will receive all the blessings that God wants to give you. I know this is hard for some people to imagine, but you must come to the realization that God is so much bigger than anything you will ever face. We are children of the most high God, we are blessed and highly favored, we have royalty in our DNA we are children of the King. So why would you not live your life expecting Him to give you victory? God intends for you to be a champion, not a defeated person. If you claim victory and expect victory, you will get it, along with a greater sense of power and peace! God wants you to live abundantly, so learn to expect His abundance. Every time Satan throws a stumbling block at you just ask the Lord to turn it into a stepping stone. God wants to raise us up higher than we ever thought possible and He will use every stumbling block that is thrown at us as stepping stones, if we stay in faith and allow Him to work in our life. No matter how painful the blows or distressing the situation may seem if we shake it off and put it under our feet we can use the adversities of life to raise us up to an overflow of blessings. What seems like is going to bury us many times God uses to bless us. Stay positive and remember Romans 16:20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.  Our 12th year for our conference and our 5th year right here at 107 Sycamore St. Keenes, Illinois Yes we have 3 days planned that will be an Overflow of blessings to all who attend. I'm asked many times is this just for truckers? No! This is for whosoever will come and except the overflow of blessings God wants to pour out on you! Bring your family, bring your kids! We have Fred & his feathered friends at our conference this year. We have James Payne, Richard Coss, Pastor Shawan Scott, Pastor Jeff Lewis, Chaplain Bill Blackmon, and more as speakers this year. This year we will have an overflow of blessings coming our way. Food, fellowship, music, & preaching. We will kick off our conference on Friday June 27th at 2 pm with music, & some great preaching and at 5:30 pm we will have a great meal provided by James (Peanut) Copes and his wife Laurie from their Chuckwagon. Then after the meal we will have more music and preaching from James Payne, Saturday we will have a Chuckwagon breakfast at 8 am and the conference will begin after breakfast with more music & preaching. At 2 PM we will have a fish fry provided by my Sister Rhonda & her husband Don Tucker, Then more music & preaching after the fish fry. Sunday morning our service will be at 10 AM followed by a great pork loin meal provided by Don & Rhonda Tucker.  Hebrews 9:22 And according to the law, almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood, there is no remission.    This Month we have for you Vol # 5 from last year’s conference. The Cries from the Cross, has some awesome music by Ann Davenport, Sonshine Road, & Roger Barkley Jr. & the Redemption Band, plus am awesome message by Chaplain Charles Stephens. The Cries From the Cross is a powerful message that all will enjoy. A timely message since April is Easter and all our eyes are on the Cross this month. We are going to look at the cries from the Cross. I was recently asked a question, and the question was, what does the cross mean to you? People wear crosses on chains around their necks. Truck drivers have crosses lit up on the grill of their trucks for lots of difference reason. I know when I first got saved back in 1995 I was an over the road truck driver and someone gave me a bracelet WWJD what would Jesus do. I just loved wearing that bracelet. I wore it for two reasons. The first reason, I wore it was so I could be a witness for Jesus. Every time someone would ask me about the bracelet, I would get to share my testimony of how Jesus saved me out on the highway that day, August 13, 1995. The second reason I wore that bracelet was to remind myself of the commitment I had made to Jesus on that day. How I had given my life to serve Him. Later on I put three crosses on my Semi for the same reason to be a witness on the highway and to remind myself that I am a Christian. When I would get upset on the road and we all do at some time or another. I would always look at that bracelet on my wrist, and ask myself, what would Jesus do? I thought about the crosses on my truck that folks on the highway were looking at, it was a reminder, that I belong to Christ. That would help guide me in my decision making for whatever was going on at that particular moment. Instead of getting mad I would remember the day out on the highway when Jesus saved me. So that is what I thought of when I was asked, what does the cross mean to me. We also know in Hebrews it says that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. So without Jesus Christ going to the cross and dying for our sin, without that, no one could ever go to heaven. So each one of us has to ask ourselves, What would Jesus Do? Thank You for reading our Newsletter, unless you didn't read our Newsletter then shame on you, but then if you didn't read our Newsletter you didn't know you were shamed.
I know everyone is busy these days, shuffling, work, family, social life and then somehow getting a couple hours rest.
We can't see, listen or do it all. That's why I been trying to keep this letter shorter than used to be. Gary does most the work putting the letter together, I take his paper copy and post it to the website. For those that don't get home often to pickup the mail we try to keep it short and informative. GOD BLESS!
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
You know, God wants each of us to come to Him with a teachable spirit, eager to be changed. Are you eager to be changed? We need a closer walk with God each day. We must put God 1st each day. If we will do that He will continue to give us a newness each day, each week, each year we cry out to Him. We should not cling to our old ways as we step into a new day or a New Year. Instead we need to seek God’s face with an open mind and an open spirit knowing that our journey with God involves being transformed and being renewed of our minds.
As you focus your thoughts on God, beware that God is fully attentive. God sees each one of us with a steady eye. Because God’s attention span is infinite. God knows and understands each one of us completely. God’s thoughts and embraces are everlasting love to each one of us.
God has a purpose and God has a plan for each one of us. It’s a plan to prosper, not to harm. But we must take up our cross daily and follow Jesus! We must put God 1st each day!
God has a plan to give us a hope and a future. If we will put God 1st in everything we say and do, God will increase us, He will bless us, He will prosper us, He will bless us beyond anything we could ever hope or imagine. Ephesians 3: 20 Says; Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. The power is in each one of us to do just exactly that, if we put God first in everything we do! God bless each and everyone of you and remember our 3 Fold Cord Conference is the last weekend in June each year. This years dates are June 27.28.29 and many of your favorite artist will be here. We have already got our speakers lined up and lots of Christian artist will be here again this year.
I will be fasting and praying the whole month of February for Our President, Our Country, Lonesome Road Ministries and all the Churches and Ministries that we partner with. Also each and everyone of you who partner with us to get the Gospel message in the hands of family, friends & neighbors. This is our prayer for each and every one of you as we march off into 2025. We are praying that God will bless you more than you ever thought or dreamed possible. God will bless you in your finances, your health and everything you do for His kingdom. In Matthew 6:33 Jesus tells us, “seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. If we put God 1st He will honor our efforts and our prayers. May you all be blessed & highly favored in 2025 as we walk through these open doors that God is opening for His chosen people, those who are willing to put God 1st.

We have for you this month, "Broken By Sin,” it’s our 2nd CD/Podcast from our 2024 3 Fold Cord Conference. Richard Coss always does a great job of sharing testimonies and great messages at our conference, and yes he will be with us in 2025.
Broken By Sin, yes we all are, but we don’t have to stay broken. We can have Victory over Sin. You might ask, can we really have Victory over Sin? Yes it begins with understanding that Jesus took our shame to the cross and paid our penalty. We have to confess our Sin to God! Does that mean we have to tell everyone all the bad things we have done? “No”! It means we have to humble our hearts before God, and truly ask God to forgive us of all our sins. (He already knows all the things we have done.) When we repent and do that, we need to turn away from the wrong and choose to do right. Confronting guilt in this way, replaces the weight of shame in our heart with peace and joy, and an amazing side effect is that we have wisdom to share. We have a testimony we can share with others! We can be open about our past mistakes. When we lay our Sin at the feet of Jesus it allows us the forgiveness of our Savior Jesus Christ. We can reveal the Lord to those we come in contact with, family, friends, and whosoever by living our lives for Him. Through our testimonies and witness, God will reach others who need their guilt chains broken. We have a place for you to share your testimony and get it recorded so that you can witness to your family and friends no matter where they are. How, you ask? We want to partner with you to help you become all that God has called you to do.
We want to help you become that witness by sharing your testimony or the testimony of others with those you come in contact with. God has opened a huge door for us here at Lonesome Road Ministries to not only stretch this Net…Work across America, but to go into all the world via Radio and TV programs. All I had to do was have faith that God was the one speaking to me and to walk through the door that He had showed me! God told me that morning, He was going to make me an Oilfield Chaplain! I had never heard of such a thing and I googled it and could not find any Oil Field Chaplains, but I decided to take a step of faith and walk through the door God was opening for me. When I did God opened up so many opportunities, the small ministry I had, exploded into a huge ministry. God is opening a huge door for all of us to go to the next level and reach more people than we could ever imagine. The only one who can shut the door God is opening is you! Eyes On The Road
When driving a car, our eyes must always stay on the road in order to reach our destination. Certainly there are times we need to glance down to check gauges and make minor driving adjustments, but if we take our eyes off the road for an extended time we are sure to have an accident.
As Christians, God has commissioned us with a higher purpose for life with wonderful results that continue into eternity. We accomplish that purpose by keeping our eyes on Christ and our Heavenly destination. But as with driving, our attention must be divided between watching the road and watching our gauges. We all need to attend to the things of this life, like obtaining food, clothing and shelter for ourselves and family.
A problem arises when we are overly distracted by the details of life and get our eyes on attaining wealth, success and such. Ironically, we can quickly lose focus of God in our drive to secure comfort. When our eyes are off our eternal destination, it should come of no surprise when our spiritual life comes to an abrupt stop.
In eternity, if God asks why our spiritual-life crashed and brought no glory to Him, it will be embarrassing to admit we took our eyes off the Christian objective because we were too focused on personal objectives or texting the mundane things of this life.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

We all like to be invited to a party or a celebration. It is a time to put aside our cares to honour someone or something special in our lives. Whether it is a birthday, a wedding, an anniversary or simply a get-together, we plan to have a good time. In our quest to make merry, we avoid rude and depressing people and seek the ‘life of the party’ where people are joyful and carefree. Naturally, we want to celebrate with those who are celebrating.
God is hosting an event called, ‘Time’. He has called us to be the ‘life of the party’ and rejoice in whatever circumstances we find ourselves. He has arranged the catering, brought the gifts and paid the costs. All we need do is choose to attend. Even in our darkest hours we should turn on the lights (remember God’s grace and provision) and celebrate. God understands that every party has broken glasses (tragedies), but He has said He will pick up the pieces and clean up the mess (if we let Him). God has taken away all our excuses for being miserable. He commanded us to cast our cares and worries on Him and celebrate as if every day is Christmas (because it is).
God has asked just one thing. When people pass by and see us celebrating, we should invite them in saying, ‘The Host welcomes all guests – there’s no charge, the bill has been paid – walk through the “Door of Christ” and give your cares and worries to the Host.’ (Psalms 13:5-6)
God is hosting an event called, ‘Time’. He has called us to be the ‘life of the party’ and rejoice in whatever circumstances we find ourselves. He has arranged the catering, brought the gifts and paid the costs. All we need do is choose to attend. Even in our darkest hours we should turn on the lights (remember God’s grace and provision) and celebrate. God understands that every party has broken glasses (tragedies), but He has said He will pick up the pieces and clean up the mess (if we let Him). God has taken away all our excuses for being miserable. He commanded us to cast our cares and worries on Him and celebrate as if every day is Christmas (because it is).

November is a time of thanksgiving and I am so thankful to my wife Linda for not giving up on me. Linda and I were married on Feb 25 1983 and we really had some rocky roads to travel all due to my alcohol & drug abuse. But Linda stood by me and kept praying for me. She got a Church to pray for me and called the 700 club and had them pray for me. August 13,1995 those prayers were answered and I surrendered my life to Jesus out on the road one night. God picked me up out of the miry clay and put my feet upon the Rock and established my going. God called me to start a cassette tape ministry in 1999 and almost a years later in Oct 2000 I finally surrendered to the call. Linda has stood by me every step of the way even when it didn’t look like the tape ministry was going to survive. We continued through many trials and tribulations, keeping the main objective to just reach one person with the efforts of our ministry. Linda and I want to pray for you, so no matter what the situation is God can see you through, if we continue to pray God is faithful and just to hear our cries. the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes to the father but by me.” Jesus is the doorway to heaven.
The Bible says in Acts 2:21, “and it shall be, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be
saved.” In Romans Chapter 10 verses 9-13 the Bible says, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus
and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” For with the heart one
believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”
We would like to invite you to ask Jesus Christ into your heart today so that he can fully show himself to you. His plan and purpose for your life are truly awesome. Just remember that no matter what you have done in the past or will ever do in the future, either good or bad, can ever compare to the peace and contentment that will overtake you when you humbly surrender your life back into the hands of your heavenly father. A note from the web content creator. (that to me sounds much better than Web Master, the only Master I think of is Our LORD and Father in Heaven, the one Gary speaks about in the newsletter above). Oh back to the note, we have had a few hiccups with our website, mostly with our membership area. Some folks have sent in applications via the website and it seems as though they might still in space somewhere. We were just ordinary truck drivers when God called us into ministry. Just like those ordinary fishermen in the Bible, God called them to be fishers of men. God is looking for the ordinary so He can make extraordinary out of you.
One of my very favorite verses in the Bible is Acts Chapter 4 verse 13, and my favorite part is when the religious people saw the boldness of these two ordinary men they marveled and was surprised and they realized that these men had been with Jesus. The fact that they had been with Jesus gave them a power to do the extraordinary. When was the last time someone noticed that you had been with Jesus?
If you go back to Acts Chapter one you find these men being filled with the Holy Spirit and being given an extraordinary power. In verse 8 the Bible says they received power to be witnesses for Jesus in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. God wants us to have that power to witness to our family, friends and our neighbors. Being Filled with the Holy Spirit is God giving you power to help you say NO! to sin! Power to read His word each day. Power to pray each day. Power to keep your marriage strong. Power of forgiveness. Power to well, you fill in the blanks!
The Holy Spirit gives us a boldness to do the extraordinary to be more than we ever thought or dreamed possible if we will just step out in faith. Even when we think we can’t, the Holy Spirit is our teacher. The Bible says in Luke 12 verses 11 & 12, now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” And also in 1 Corinth 2:13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
When we are saved the Bible says the Holy Spirit comes to live in us, Ephesians 1 verse 13 & 14 says: In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory. The whole key to this is what we do with the gifts and powers that God gives us through the Holy Spirit. It’s up to us, what we do with this man called Jesus that lives in our heart!

Jesus spoke about the power of agreement in Matthew 18:19: "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven." Don't put any limitation on this scripture. Jesus says what He means. We can receive anything if we agree about it in prayer.
