ANTIDOTE TO CRISIS
Romans Chapter 5: 3-4
We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.
Are you lost, alone & have no place to turn for help? There is someone you can turn to in your darkest moment. His name is Jesus Christ. The Bible says, "Come unto me, all ye who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
On August 13, 1995 I found myself lost and hurting in the darkest moment of my life with no where to turn. I cried out to God and ask Him to give me a sign and prove to me that He was real. When I dried my eyes from my tears I saw a sign at the intersection of the Interstate that read "Christ is the Answer." God proved to me that day that He was not only real but He had the answer for any problem or dilemma that I had or would ever have. This life is full of problems, trials, and misery and many have gotten caught up in the coronavirus panic. The greatest weapon we have for fear is faith. I want to encourage you to take up the whole armor of God for your protection. Read Ephesians Chapter 6: 10-20 we can be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We are in a war right now and we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places.
So take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand this virus attack. We have the Antidote to this crisis, "Christ is the Answer!!"
Do you have confidence in your salvation? If not, then I want to lead you in a prayer that will give you the confidence and endurance that you need.
Pray this prayer with me; Heavenly Father, I invite Jesus Christ into my life as my Lord and Savior. I believe Jesus Christ died for my sins and was raised from the dead on the third day. His blood was shed so that I could be forgiven and I surrender my life to you Jesus and I accept You as my Lord from this moment forward. I receive the forgiveness of sins through your shed blood, Jesus. Take out my old heart, Lord give me a new heart, a new spirit, a new life and I will follow you, with your help, by your grace, all the days of my life, in Jesus name, amen.

Food for the Body & Food for the soul, Everyone Welcome at our 3 Fold Cord Conference.
Just want to let you know and share with you all what God's been doing out here on that ole Lonesome Road. God has been doing some amazing things this past year. Sometimes I don't understand why but we just have to trust and obey. Like Chaplain Gary Rayburn always say's obedience is the key to the next level.
D. L. Moody said the world is yet to see what God can do in and through and for man who is fully consecrated to Him. By God's help I aim to be that man. Ephesians 6:10 says Be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might (not our might.) As we sign up with God to be His witness.
We need to remember; (Iam) and (I am Not)
Here is some of the (I Am Not's)
I am not the light, I am not the answer
It's not about me, I am not the one who can save and transform.
Here is some of the (I Am's)
I Am only a witness,
I am just a witness to the light
I am the one with the responsibility & privilege of introducing the answer
I am to illuminate the path.
Our job is to be a witness for the main attraction "Jesus" The Great I AM.
Please pray for me I will be going back to the prison ministry in March. I have been doing Kairos prison ministry for 3 years now. It is amazing to see how God works in the dark places and how He opens the inmates hearts.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone in June at the 3 Fold Cord Conference. This journey I have been on since my 1st Conference I attended in 2016, it's been amazing. No eye has seen, no ear has heard and no one's heart has imagined all the things that God has prepared for those who love Him. God Bless, Talk at you later,

This months featured Cd "Following God's Plan with Dennis McKay"
Standing before God's open door! We are there! God is getting ready to open a door for many of us who are ready to go to the next level. Many people who have tied their ministries with Lonesome Road Ministries and the 3 Fold Cord Conference has seen God open doors for them that they never thought or dreamed possible. God has so much more for each one of us to do if we will just step out and say here am I Lord use me! God is ready to move, and if we want to see God move then all we have to do is step out and step up and start moving. God lives in us so if we want to see God move then all we have to do is start moving. We are the hands and feet of God because He lives in us.
Many people say if I only knew what God wanted me to do I would go out and do it. I think we have all said this at one time on another. Well guess what it is in the book, what God wants us to do? It is called the great commission. Go ye therefore and preach the gospel to every creature! Go into all the world and preach the Gospel! Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father The Son and The Holy Ghost! Go out into the highways and the hedges and compel folks to come in so that my house will be filled. It is that simple, Go, Go, Go, Go ye therefore and do what God has called you to do!
One of my favorite verses in the Bible is Acts 4:13 it reads; Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
I love this verse in the Bible, it gives all of us hope because no matter who we are God has more for each of us. The religious and highly educated were amazed when they saw these ordinary men (just fishermen) who God had transformed into (fishers of men). Each one of us who the Holy Spirit lives in has the boldness if we will just let go and let God use us. Each one of us can be more than just ordinary we can be great if we allow the Holy Spirit to work through us.
Worldly wisdom says that extraordinary people and abundant resources are needed for great tasks, yet the Lord often chooses the small and insignificant to achieve His purposes on earth.
God specializes in using people who aren't naturally qualified to accomplish His tasks. Moses was a verbally impaired 80-year-old shepherd who liberated a nation. After Gideon hid from the enemy, God made him a Mighty warrior. David was the overlooked youngest son who killed a giant with a small stone and became Israel's greatest king.
God isn't looking for impressive people; He wants willing ones who will bow their knee in humble submission. Being weak and ordinary doesn't make you useless. Rather, it positions you for a demonstration of divine power in your life. He takes insignificant ones and delights in making them great.
Have you ever considered that your lack of ability, talent, or skill is the ideal setting for a great display of Christ's power and glory? If you are willing to submit to His leading and venture into the scary yet rewarding territory of faith and obedience, He will do great things in and through you. Are you ready to be one of God's chosen? Then take that step of faith, and say here am I Lord use me, and watch what only God can do in you and through you!
Yeah, that's right this is our 8th year for the 3 Fold Cord Conference and we are excited about what God is doing here at Lonesome Road Ministries. June 26,27 & 28 are the dates for the conference so start making your plans to come join us this year for our 8th 3 Fold Cord Conference.
Dennis & Leslie McKay will be helping me this year with the conference and helping me to streamline this year's conference so we can hear from even more partners than ever before. We will be letting you know in the next few months of some of those names who you will be joining us this year.
Can't wait? give me a call and I will give you more details today! 618 - 383 - 2107 we want to hear from you!
Haggai 2:9 "The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,' says the LORD Almighty. 'And in this place I will grant peace'..."
Our good friend Tony Mac McMullen went to be with the Lord on Memorial day 2016.
His testimony still remains one of our most requested CD's we have here at Lonesome Road Ministries and his testimony is still winning many souls to Jesus every week out there on that Ole Lonesome Road. One of Tony's sayings was it's Gonna get Gooder rang in my head as I read this Scripture today. I could hear Tony saying you ain't seen nothing yet son, It's gonna get Gooder!
God is getting ready to increase His favor in our lives, Ministries and Churches. He wants to amaze us with His goodness. God's favor that He has poured out on us in the past was awesome, but what God is getting ready to do with our lives, Ministries and Churches will be even more awesomer! God's Glory we have seen in the past, we haven't seen nothing yet. God is getting ready to bring His people up to a new level.
We serve a God of increase, so we need to increase our vision in 2020 of what God has for us. If we will do that we will reach more souls for Him than we ever thought or dreamed possible. We need to be expecting God to bring new opportunities across our paths. We need to expect to meet the right people, for God to send people into our lives, Ministries and Churches to help us to go to that next level.
Obedience is the key to unlocking the next level. God promises us blessings for our obedience if we will make Him our first priority. God is involved in the lives of His people, and He wants to be their first priority. A place of worship must be provided for the good of God's people, and God promises to fill that place with His Glory.
I want everything that God has for me and I don't want to settle for anything less, so God pour out your Spirit and pour out your Glory on my house, my Church and Lonesome Road Ministries in 2020, let this be the greatest year of increase that we have seen thus far. God we pray that you not only bless us but we pray blessings for all those who become a part of this net you are stretching across America!
Proverbs 29:18 says: Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. "God is looking for a place to Happen!!!" And He can happen in our life if we get out of His way and let Him be the God of our lives. 2020 is the year of clear vision! The vision is clear we are to continue the work that God has given us to unite ministries and work together to reach Whosoever! Continue to work with all the great ministries that are a part of this 3 Fold Cord and continue to bring in more Ministries, Churches, Christian Companies that want to make a difference in their employees and their employees families. Ecclesiastes 4:12 says; Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken. Working together we can become stronger and do 10 times as much as working alone.
The vision for 2020 is clear, let's continue to work together and watch God do what only God can do. We are going to see miracles Happen in our lives, our Ministries, our Churches, our businesses, and our families. He wants to enlarge each one of us but we must enlarge our vision and efforts. Just like the little boy with a few fish and a few loaves, just a small lunch enough for a young lad. But when he placed it in the hands of the Master it became a miracle and was enough to feed thousands.
Want to join our family of mighty warriors? We want to work with you! We have many ministries, Churches and individuals that are a part of Lonesome Road Ministries. Let us hear from you today! Give us a call 618.383.2107 or email us at email@example.com or log on to lonesomeroad.org check out our website.
God Bless, Talk at You Later...

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
There is nothing the devil fears more than Christians who are united. This means that his number one tactic is to bring disunity in the Church. If he can succeed, then the Church is crippled.
Drivers you know well that the miles go a lot quicker if you find someone to run with across the country. When we work together things just seem to go smoother. The key to Lonesome Road Ministries success is Team work, tying our ministry to other ministries to make this ministry stronger than we ever thought or dreamed possible. I became a part of I-20 for Jesus led by Ray Sisk working with him and let him guide me when I first began. Ray Sisk was all about networking with others to stretch a net across America using the trucking industry. 19 years later we are still trying to network our ministry with as many ministries as we can to stretch this net across America for the harvest is near. In John Chapter 4 Jesus was talking to His disciples when he said, you know the saying, four months between planting and harvest. But I say, wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest. The harvesters are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike! You know, the saying, one plants and another harvests. And it's true. I sent you to harvest where you didn't plant; others had already done the work, and now you will get to gather the harvest.
According to this Scripture we can enter into the labor of others and help them with the joy of the planters and the harvesters and The harvesters are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. Yes the wages are out of this world! We are storing up treasures in Heaven ! So Lonesome Road Ministries is always looking for new partners to work together with for the harvest is plentiful.
Lonesome Road Ministries has teamed up with lots of other ministries across the country working together. We are excited to let everyone know that Dennis & Leslie McKay (The McKay Project) has agreed to join with Lonesome Road Ministries and they will become part of our weekly Radio programs. We are working on our Lonesome Road Vol # 3 project and hope to debut it at the Mid America Truck show March 2020 and we will also be traveling together in 2020 as a Lonesome Road tour, taking our ministry on the road.
We are booking Churches and events for 2020 and if you would like for us to be a part of your Church or special event you are planning then contact us and let's work together to reach your area.
Jesus spoke about the power of agreement in Matthew 18:19: "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven." Don't put any limitation on this Scripture. Jesus says what He means. We can receive anything if we agree about it in prayer. The Bible says that one can put a thousand to flight, but two could put ten thousand to flight. If we work together in unity we can reach our area for Christ. We might not reach everyone, but what about the one's we do reach. We can make a difference in someone's life today. I know this much for sure, Jesus loves you and we do too,
This is Chaplain Gary Rayburn and we will talk at you later
So here is a word from Dennis & Leslie McKay:
"We are excited about the things God is doing with Lonesome Road Ministries and we believe in the vision and purpose of the ministry. We have enjoyed working with Gary and being a part of the "boots on the ground" effort around the country. In addition to our current ministry with McKay Project, M.A.C. Records, and Studio 115A, the doors have opened for McKay Project to become more involved in Lonesome Road in 2020 and we are excited about taking things to the next level."

God's Mighty Warrior!
Judges 6:12 When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.
God has something for you to do that only you can accomplish through Him. Yes you, God is calling each one of us to become His might warriors. God loves to use the average ordinary people to do the extraordinary. God doesn't call the qualified He qualifies the called. Look at the story of Gideon in Judges Chapter 6.
Gideon was hiding from his enemies. He was afraid and didn't feel equipped to do what God was calling him to do. He felt unqualified. Gideon was focusing on his circumstances and his weakness. Gideon felt weak, unqualified, insecure, and was full of fear. But God saw Gideon as a Mighty warrior, fearless and full of boldness.
When Gideon finally surrendered to the call that God had on his life he became the mighty warrior that God was calling him to be. Gideon went from a victim to a victor.
Victory is waiting for each one of us who are willing to say here I am Lord! Use Me!
You may feel that you are average or ordinary, but God sees you as a His champion. He believes in you and regards you as a mighty warrior, strong and courageous. You may not see yourself as a successful and overcoming person but that doesn't change God's image of you.
Today is the first day of the rest of your life, it's up to you what you do with it. It is your choice how you live each day from here on out. Choose to be positive and pick up your sword (which is the Bible) and you can become God*s mighty warrior.
God still sees you exactly as His word describes you, dare to start seeing yourself as God's mighty warrior! Through God's word, and through prayer we can turn a life of being a victim to a life of victory. Victory in Jesus, dare to believe!
Hey remember this friends, God Loves you and we do too, this is Chaplain Gary Rayburn and we'll talk at you later!

Listen to Lonesome Road Church on the Road
A Time of Change
Lonesome Road Ministries began in October 2000 as a tape ministry. We started out making 100 Cassette tapes a month and we have seen a lot of changes come down that Ole Lonesome Road since that time. In 2002 we started to transition into CD Ministry. By 2005 we was making mostly just CD'S and 2006 we was making just about all CD'S. 2007 we became a Oilfield Chaplain and began Rig Ministries and putting Lonesome Road Ministries on the shelf until 2018 when Lonesome Road Ministries was resurrected. We have dabbled in radio and podcast and even one season of television programs over the last 10 years and in 2018 we began a program called Lonesome Road, "Church on the Road" where we get in the Cab with the drivers and ride along with them for about an hour or so.
I brought on a partner Darrell Spicer of Channel 21 Ministries to partner with me in the radio program. It has been a great time and we have really enjoyed working with Darrell Spicer in these programs, and from the feedback from the drivers they have enjoyed us riding with them. In 2016 God brought another couple into our lives Dennis & Leslie McKay, (The McKay Project) and we have been working with them and traveling with them around the Country. In 2017 with the help of The McKay's we came out with our Lonesome Road Music CD'S and in 2018 we came out with Lonesome Road Vol #2 CD, This year we are working on Vol #3, coming out in 2020.
We are excited to be working with this great couple and in just a short time, they have become great friends of ours. Such great friends that I have asked Dennis to join Darrell and I on our Radio Program Lonesome Road's "Church on the Road" full time. So Dennis McKay will be riding along with us each week in the Cab with the drivers. I feel like this is going to take our Radio Program to a higher level than ever before. Dennis will be joining us on the Tim Ridley Show and The Dave Nemo show as well on Satellite Radio Channel 146. It just keeps getting Gooder and Gooder!!! So welcome aboard Chaplain Dennis McKay!!!!
