 “Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the mutilation!” – Philippians 3:2 (NKJV)   Out on the open road, every trucker understands warning signs. Sharp curve ahead. The bridge may ice. Slow—construction zone. These signs aren't meant to scare us; they're meant to protect us. In Philippians Chapter 3, the Apostle Paul puts up a spiritual warning sign for believers then—and for us today: “Beware of dogs.” Paul wasn't talking about animals. He was warning the church about people and influences that appear religious, sound spiritual, and even quote Scripture—but lead hearts away from the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. Paul lists all the reasons he could have trusted in himself—his heritage, his religious credentials, his zeal. If anyone had a résumé to brag about, it was Paul. Yet he makes this stunning declaration: “But what things - were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ.” (v.7) Religion without relationship will always leave us empty. Rules without redemption can never change a heart. Paul warns us to beware of anything—or anyone—that adds to the finished work of Jesus on the cross. On the road, distractions can be deadly. Spiritually, the same is true. Legalism, pride, and performance-based faith is like barking dogs along the highway—loud, intimidating, and meant to pull our focus off the road ahead. Paul reminds us that righteousness doesn't come from our effort, our past, or reputation: “not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ.” (v.9) Paul's heart cry is not comfort, success, or recognition. It is simple and powerful: “That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection...” (v.10) This is the heartbeat of Lonesome Road Ministries. Whether in a truck stop, a church, or a radio studio, our mission remains the same: & Point people to Jesus—nothing added, nothing taken away. The message stays the same, the methods must change as our society changes. What worked 20 -50 years ago is no longer as effective. Happy New Year from Lonesome Road Ministries!Matthew 27:11–30 makes one truth unmistakably clear: when it comes to Jesus Christ, there is no neutral ground. You are either for Him, or you are against Him. In this passage, Jesus stands innocent before Pilate. Pilate knew the truth, yet he refused to act on it. The crowd was given a choice—Jesus or Barabbas—and they chose the guilty man. Others mocked, beat, and humiliated Jesus. Some acted out of hatred, others out of fear, and many through silence. But every response led to the same result: rejection of Christ. This passage speaks directly to our world today. Many people believe that staying neutral about Jesus is enough. But Matthew 27 shows us that silence and indecision still place us on the wrong side of eternity. Knowing the truth but refusing to follow it is not faith—it is rejection. Jesus endured the crown of thorns, the mocking, the spitting, and the beatings for one reason: love. He was not forced to the cross; He chose it. He took the punishment we deserved so that we could receive forgiveness we do not deserve. While the world stood against Him, He stood for us. The question this passage asks is personal and urgent: What will you do with this man called Jesus? Not tomorrow. Not someday. Right now. If you are not standing with Him, you are standing against Him - Whether by choice, compromise, or delay. Today is the day to choose Jesus. Choose the One who remained silent so you could be forgiven. Choose the Savior who was rejected so you could be accepted. Choose life, salvation, and truth If you have never trusted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, call on Him today. Turn from sin, believe in His sacrifice, and confess Him boldly. He is still offering grace to all who will choose Him. This Scripture is a call to each and everyone of us!      I love this story in Luke chapter 5, I ask you to read the first 11 verses. When you do sit down in the boat with His disciples and listen to His words to us! Jesus needed Peter’s boat so He could preach the gospel. After using the boat, He blessed Peter’s fishing business and brought an abundance. Jesus first told him to launch out a little from the shore. Then He told him to launch out into the deep. 25 years ago Jesus spoke to me to start a tape ministry. We started with just a little, passing out my testimony on the road about 25 tapes a week. As the ministry grew we kept launching out a little deeper. As our ministry has grown we have launched out into the deep waters. Our ministry has grown from a tape ministry to CD’S, Podcast, to Podcast Cards, to Radio to TV programs on crossflix. You can find us on Roku, Fire-stick with our radio programs and TV programs. As our ministry grows it cost us more to do all that God has called us to do. We need our partners to join with us more now than ever. We send out over 900 Newsletters CD & Podcast cards each month. We need faithful partners to join with us every month and keep this ministry fishing in the deep waters. The need is bigger than ever and we need you to partner with us to reach your family, friends and neighbors. God is saying your next, will be greater than your now! But if you cannot perceive it then you will not be able to acknowledge when your season of increase has come. Not just increase in your finances, but increase in your ministry, career and other aspects of your life. God does not just want to bless you one way or a certain aspect of your life, he wants to bless every area of your life "do you not perceive it?" Many people are afraid to go to the next level because they think what if I fail? We need to turn that coin over and think what if I succeed! Philippians 4:13 says We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. So whatever God is calling us to do, we can do it! Let Peter be our example. Peter surrendered all to Jesus and followed Him. Peter was later able to walk on water! Although when Peter got discouraged when they captured Jesus and denied Him 3 times, Jesus never gave up on Peter. In the book of Acts after Jesus went to Heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit to give His disciples the power that they needed to be all that Jesus had called them to be. We See God use Peter heal a man who had been lame for 38 years. We also see people healed by the shadow of Peter. We later see God use Peter to Heal a man who had been bedridden for 8 years and then he raised a young girl by the name of Tabitha from the dead. All this and more from a man who had just a few years earlier had denied Christ. No matter what your circumstances are God wants to raise you up. He has something bigger and better for you on the next level. God has great things in store for you. Do not settle for where you are but go to the next level... We need to be like Peter and say "Lord if that is you, let me come to you walking on the water." It is time to get out of the boat and go to the next level. We can have Victory in Jesus! Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit. The words we speak can bring us curses or blessings. 
Jesus puts it this way in Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
The words we speak, define our life and our future. Our words are the cornerstone of our lives. Situations, circumstances, and conditions are all subject to change, but with the support of our words we can establish them in our life forever. In Proverbs 18:21 God tells us death and life are in the power of the tongue. If we claim to be blessed & highly favored every day, then we are! But if we claim to be old, sick, broke, & disgusted, then we are! According to God’s Word what we believe and speak not only affects our body but our immune system as well. Our words can either be a blessing or a curse according to God’s word. The book of proverbs is the book of wisdom! It has 31 Chapters and if we would read one book of Proverbs each day we could have the whole book of Proverbs read in one month’s time. I was a truck driver for over 30 years and truck drivers have to do a pre-trip and a post–trip each day on their log sheets. We as Christians we need to do a pre-trip and a post–trip with our Bibles each and every day. There is 1189 Chapters in the Bible Do you know if we read three Chapters in the Bible each day we could read the entire Bible in just a little over a year’s time. What if we went one step farther in our walk with Jesus and read one Chapter in the book of Proverbs each day and added a couple of other Chapters from the Bible into our day. We would be adding a whole lot of wisdom, and a whole lot of food for our soul! We would find that we would become healthy Christians. Healthy Christians can be a big help not only to our family and friends, but we could also be a great help to others that we run into in our daily lives. Friends, if we will seek to know God on a personal level we will find that His divine wisdom is available to every believer through the Holy Spirit. Let us walk in the Spirit! If we will take the limits off and allow God to bring us to the next level there’s nothing impossible for God to accomplish through us! I encourage you, don’t settle for anything less than what God has planned for your life! 
Lord, I pray that you will give each person who reads this the desire and appetite to read your word each and every day. I pray Lord that you will help each one of us to “Walk in The Spirit.” Help us to be overcomers by the blood of the lamb and the words of our testimonies. Give us the desire to share our testimonies with Whosoever, Whenever, Wherever! Lord help us to gain wisdom and knowledge that will help each one of us to grow into a better person. I pray that you will protect and help each one of the drivers on the road and their families and help each one of us to draw closer to you. Oh! Lord, help us to draw closer than we ever thought or dreamed possible. Lord I am praying you help each driver find a church or a Truckstop Chapel to park their Big Rigs at each week and let's have Church. And I know this much for sure, Jesus Loves you and we here at Lonesome Road Ministries, we love you too!

 Isaiah 41:9-11 (New Living Translation) I have called you back from the ends of the earth, saying, 'You are my servant.' For I have chosen you and will not throw you away. Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. "See, all your angry enemies lie there, confused and humiliated. Anyone who opposes you will die and come to nothing.    Have you ever read the Scriptures and it sounds like God’s voice is thundering in your ears. As I read these Scriptures In Isaiah 41 God was speaking to me. I believe God is guiding us once again to the next level in this ministry. We are ready to step out in faith and do what seems impossible in our eyes. But, all things are possible with God! God is calling each one of us who will hear His voice to do the impossible in our lives. He has chosen each and everyone of us to do something above and beyond what we think we are capable of doing. As I continued to read these Scriptures in Isaiah 41 God’s voice went from a booming thundering voice to a quite soothing voice when He says, “don’t be afraid, for I am with you!” He tells us He will strengthen and help us do the impossible task He is calling us to do. God says’ “He will hold us up with His victorious hand!” There is victory in Jesus, there is victory in our lives when we we take that step of faith. As I look back, it was August 13,1995, 30 years ago that I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ on I-39 driving down the road at 65 MPH. I cried out and He saved me and I haven’t slowed down. I have been running wide open in the hammer lane of life. As you know we have been doing ministry for God since October of 2000. That is when I started a cassette tape ministry called Lonesome Road Ministries. From the beginning of what seemed like a big tape ministry to now, God keeps on raising us up higher and higher each year. We went from Cassette tapes to CD’s to Podcast, Radio Ministry, to starting our very own radio station called Lonesome Road Radio. The great part of this is each and everyone of you who pray and support this ministry, you are a big part of what God is able to do through each one of us here at Lonesome Road Ministries! In Judges Chapter 6 verse 12 says; When the angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon, he said, “The LORD is with you, mighty warrior.”  God has something for you to do that only you can accomplish through Him. Yes you, God is calling each one of us to become His mighty warriors. God loves to use the average ordinary people to do the extraordinary. God doesn’t call the qualified He qualifies the called. Look at the story of Gideon in Judges Chapter 6. Gideon was hiding from his enemies. He was afraid and didn’t feel equipped to do what God was calling him to do. He felt unqualified. Gideon was focusing on his circumstances and his weakness. Gideon felt weak, unqualified, insecure, and was full of fear. But God saw Gideon as a mighty warrior, fearless and full of boldness. When Gideon finally surrendered to the call that God had on his life he became the mighty warrior that God was calling him to be. Gideon went from a victim to a victor. Victory is waiting for each one of us who are willing to say here I am Lord! Use Me! You may feel that you are average or ordinary, but God sees you as a His champion. He believes in you and regards you as a mighty warrior, strong and courageous. You may not see yourself as a successful and overcoming person but that doesn’t change God’s image of you. Today is the first day of the rest of your life, It’s up to you what you do with it, It is your choice how you live each day from here on out. Choose to be positive and pick up your sword, which is the Bible and you can become God’s mighty warrior. God still sees you exactly as His word describes you, dare to start seeing yourself as God’s mighty warrior! Through God’s word and prayer we can turn a life from victim to victory. Well I was completely shocked and surprised to find out that I had not only been nominated but also had received the votes to win such a humbling award. So thank you Jesus! Country Gold Chattanooga Gospel, All the great artist who allow us to use their great music on our Church on the Road Programs  John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.    When we read the verse John 10:10 it starts out as bad news but if we continue to read, we reach the "Good News." Jesus says He has come that we might have life, but not only that but we might have life more abundantly! That's "Good News." Many people live their lives always looking at the bad news, but if we turn that bad news coin over we will find the "Good News." Which side of the coin are you looking at? If you live your life with a defeated attitude you will live a defeated life. But if you live your life expecting to receive good things from God you will receive all the blessings that God wants to give you. I know this is hard for some people to imagine, but you must come to the realization that God is so much bigger than anything you will ever face. We are children of the most high God, we are blessed and highly favored, we have royalty in our DNA we are children of the King. So why would you not live your life expecting Him to give you victory? God intends for you to be a champion, not a defeated person. If you claim victory and expect victory, you will get it, along with a greater sense of power and peace! God wants you to live abundantly, so learn to expect His abundance. Every time Satan throws a stumbling block at you just ask the Lord to turn it into a stepping stone. God wants to raise us up higher than we ever thought possible and He will use every stumbling block that is thrown at us as stepping stones, if we stay in faith and allow Him to work in our life. No matter how painful the blows or distressing the situation may seem if we shake it off and put it under our feet we can use the adversities of life to raise us up to an overflow of blessings. What seems like is going to bury us many times God uses to bless us. Stay positive and remember Romans 16:20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.  Our 12th year for our conference and our 5th year right here at 107 Sycamore St. Keenes, Illinois Yes we have 3 days planned that will be an Overflow of blessings to all who attend. I'm asked many times is this just for truckers? No! This is for whosoever will come and except the overflow of blessings God wants to pour out on you! Bring your family, bring your kids! We have Fred & his feathered friends at our conference this year. We have James Payne, Richard Coss, Pastor Shawan Scott, Pastor Jeff Lewis, Chaplain Bill Blackmon, and more as speakers this year. This year we will have an overflow of blessings coming our way. Food, fellowship, music, & preaching. We will kick off our conference on Friday June 27th at 2 pm with music, & some great preaching and at 5:30 pm we will have a great meal provided by James (Peanut) Copes and his wife Laurie from their Chuckwagon. Then after the meal we will have more music and preaching from James Payne, Saturday we will have a Chuckwagon breakfast at 8 am and the conference will begin after breakfast with more music & preaching. At 2 PM we will have a fish fry provided by my Sister Rhonda & her husband Don Tucker, Then more music & preaching after the fish fry. Sunday morning our service will be at 10 AM followed by a great pork loin meal provided by Don & Rhonda Tucker. We are still finalizing all the details so stay tuned for more information or give us a call 618-383-2107 for any questions you might have.  This year we will have a special treat for all! Fred & His Feathered Friends will be doing a special show under the tent.   Lonesome Road Hats & T-Shirts just arrived and are available for a donation. It's through your donations that we are able to do everything we are currently doing to reach the lost on the road.
