Hebrews 9:22 And according to the law, almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood, there is no remission. ![]() This Month we have for you Vol # 5 from last year’s conference. The Cries from the Cross, has some awesome music by Ann Davenport, Sonshine Road, & Roger Barkley Jr. & the Redemption Band, plus am awesome message by Chaplain Charles Stephens. The Cries From the Cross is a powerful message that all will enjoy. A timely message since April is Easter and all our eyes are on the Cross this month. We are going to look at the cries from the Cross. I was recently asked a question, and the question was, what does the cross mean to you? People wear crosses on chains around their necks. Truck drivers have crosses lit up on the grill of their trucks for lots of difference reason. I know when I first got saved back in 1995 I was an over the road truck driver and someone gave me a bracelet WWJD what would Jesus do. I just loved wearing that bracelet. I wore it for two reasons. The first reason, I wore it was so I could be a witness for Jesus. Every time someone would ask me about the bracelet, I would get to share my testimony of how Jesus saved me out on the highway that day, August 13, 1995. The second reason I wore that bracelet was to remind myself of the commitment I had made to Jesus on that day. How I had given my life to serve Him. Later on I put three crosses on my Semi for the same reason to be a witness on the highway and to remind myself that I am a Christian. When I would get upset on the road and we all do at some time or another. I would always look at that bracelet on my wrist, and ask myself, what would Jesus do? I thought about the crosses on my truck that folks on the highway were looking at, it was a reminder, that I belong to Christ. That would help guide me in my decision making for whatever was going on at that particular moment. Instead of getting mad I would remember the day out on the highway when Jesus saved me. So that is what I thought of when I was asked, what does the cross mean to me. We also know in Hebrews it says that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin. So without Jesus Christ going to the cross and dying for our sin, without that, no one could ever go to heaven. So each one of us has to ask ourselves, What would Jesus Do? So friend what does the cross mean to you? We want to hear from you! We have a special surprise for everyone this year! Fred & His Feathered Friends will be here this year. Fred & Kitty Mooney will be putting on a bird show this year at our conference. They have birds that talk, sing, roller skate and one bird even has a car it drives. ![]() God has blessed us and opened many doors for us to raise us up to levels no one would have ever expected, especially me. I would love to come to your Church and share my testimony and what all God has done to raise this ministry up from a cassette tape ministry in 2000 to what we are doing now with CD’S, Podcast Cards, Lonesome Road Radio, & Lonesome Road TV. We are also looking for Churches & Ministries to partner with and help you get your testimonies & messages out across the country. We have opportunities through Lonesome Road Radio to let people hear your music and songs that you sing and write. Let’s partner together and stretch a net across America, and into the uttermost parts of the world. We want to work with you and your Church, Ministry, or your business. We would love to work with trucking companies and help you find good hard working Christian drivers. Let us help you! We just got back from the Louisville Truck show. We had a great time as well as led some to CHRIST! Halleluiah A few photos below. You can see more as well as hear more from our Facebook page as well as Good News Distribution's Facebook page. It’s through your donations that we are able to do everything we are currently doing to reach the lost on the road. We thank each and everyone of you for your continued support and your prayers for Lonesome Road Ministries.

Gary RayburnI logged over 4 million miles as a truck driver from 1972 - 2007 and I have written a lot of it in my songs. God has taken me off the road and put me into full time ministry, but I still have a heart for all you drivers out there. Archives
