What A powerful testimony we have for you this month. Roger states in his testimony he decided he wanted to be a difference maker and started praying and asking God to make him a “Difference Maker’” God isn't looking for impressive people; He wants willing ones who will bow their knee in humble submission. Being weak and ordinary doesn't make you useless. Rather, it positions you for a demonstration of divine power in your life. He takes insignificant ones and delights in making them great.
God is willing to give any who ask a brand new heart, a brand new Spirit. He wants each one of us to be a difference maker. Have you ever considered that your lack of ability, talent, or skill is the ideal setting for a great display of Christ's power and glory? If you are willing to submit to His leading and venture into the scary, yet rewarding, territory of faith and obedience, He will do great things in and through you. Are you ready to be one of God's “Difference Makers.” Then take that step of faith, and say here am I Lord use me, and watch what only God can do in you and through you! Mark your calendars and come join us for our Annual Conference. We have had many calls asking about the dates of our conference, so I am expecting a huge crowd this year. Tim & Missy Kinchen (Chronicle) will be with us this year, Also David Timms and J Abbott will be joining us this year for the first time! Let’s make sure we all make them feel like part of the the Lonesome Road family. We have many who have been with us since the beginning, Joe Arview, Jim and Ann Davenport, Bill Schell, they plan on being here with us. We have also gained a whole lot of great partners over the years like Roger Barkley Jr. and the Redemption Band, Sonshine Road, Ava Kasich, Tamie Pernie, David Wall. James Payne will be here and preaching all 3 days. This will be James Payne’s 9th year in a row with us. We have many of our Channel 21 Road Chaplains that will be with us again this year. We have some that will be speaking this year. Chaplain Charles Stephens, Chaplain Cliff Clark, & Chaplain Danny Atwood. You will also get to hear from a whole lot of the Road Chaplains. If you plan on being here, please let me know. We are planning on having plenty of great food for you Friday night, Saturday & Sunday. We are planning a fish fry again this year Saturday afternoon and the Sunday service will be held right here at Lonesome Road Ministries this year, so plan on staying all 3 days, if possible. Sunday afternoon will be a time of great fellowship here at Lonesome Road Ministries. Everyone Welcome!!! Come join our family! We will be at the West Michigan Truck Show in Hudsonville, MI, June 7 & 8 @ Hudsonville Fairgrounds 5235 Park Ave, Hudsonville, MI 49426 Friday & Saturday, Sunday June 9,@ 11 AM, we will be at Victory Rock Church 6170 S 500 E, Warsaw, IN 46580 Sunday morning with Pastor Charles Trout, Victory Rock Praise Team, & Roger Barkley Jr. And then Sunday Night 6 pm Roger Barkley Jr. & Chaplain Gary Rayburn will bring the message. Sept 19,20, 21 we will be at the Trucker’s Jamboree at the Road Angel in Brownstown, IL. So, mark your calendars and come and join the Lonesome Road Family.
