Our 7th 3 Fold Cord Conference was without a doubt the best conference yet! The food was great, the music was awesome and the preaching was powerful. We got to hear all sorts of testimonies from lots of different folks and there were all kinds of ministry going on throughout the weekend from the gymnasium to the sanctuary.
We had 21 booths set up and 21 different states represented. James Payne was with us Friday night and ministered to us with his powerful music and brought a powerful message that will help each and every one of us who get the opportunity to listen to this message and I can't wait to share it with you. I will try and have it out in August. The Friday night meal was provided by Bart & Millie Brooks fantastic Bar B Que and also Danny and Roda Dennis (Rodan Transportation) made us some of their awesome ham salad. Trinity Church provided all the desserts and side dishes for the weekend. The Tag team really stepped up and had the Church spotless and ready for the huge crowds that was there for the 3 day weekend. A special thanks to my Church family for all their hard work to make this a special weekend. Saturday we kicked off with a awesome breakfast provided by Trinity Church and we started the conference off by welcoming a new member of the 3 Fold Cord family Tim Williams from Columbus, MS. and I'm sure you will get to hear more from him as we get him in the cab with us on our radio programs. From there we heard from Michelle McMullen of Free in Christ Ministries. Michelle is the daughter of Tony and Candy McMullen and I have been waiting a long time to get her here so we could get her testimony on CD. Well we finally got her here and we got a bonus we got to hear from her daughter Cherish also. You can look for these testimony CD's in the near future. Next we had the McKay Project always a crowd favorite followed by a great lunch provided by Rodan Transportation. After Lunch we had Joe Arview and his family band R view on Country along with Bill Schell, a message by Richard Coss, more great music by Roger Barkley Jr. Sonshine Road, Mike Holmes, Jim and Ann Davenport and then we heard from Candy McMullen of Free in Christ Ministries. Many people were there all day and it was well worth the wait to hear the message Candy had to share with us. Sunday's service was an awesome Holy Spirit filled day of music by Joe Arview, The McKay Project, Sonshine Road, Jim and Ann Davenport, Mike Holmes, and Roger Barkley Jr. and we were treated to a great fish fry provided by God's Grill of Fort Branch, IN. and great desserts by Trinity Church. Thank you all for all the hard work that went in to making this the best conference yet! Let me just say it! Praise the Lord!!! Gary RayburnI logged over 4 million miles as a truck driver from 1972 - 2007 and I have written a lot of it in my songs. God has taken me off the road and put me into full time ministry, but I still have a heart for all you drivers out there. Archives
