Luke 5:4 When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon,”Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”

I love this story in Luke Chapter 5 verses 1-11.  Eleven powerful verses we need to apply into our lives.   Jesus done the majority of His preaching, Teaching, Reaching by taking His message to the people where they were.  Here we find Jesus going right into the work place to the fishermen and preaching to them from their very own boat.  Then He said, "launch out in to the deep waters and cast your nets" and they brought in more fish than they had ever caught before. Then Jesus said; that's nothing follow me and I will make you fishers of Men!  This can be the beginning of something huge in our Ministries, our Churches and our homes.  God is bringing us to new levels if we will just take a step in faith and follow Him!

God has something special, something unique for each and every one of us if we will just reach out and grab it. Most of the time it requires us launching out into the deep, claiming territory we are not comfortable in, or in other words getting out of our comfort zone.  Many times it has us doing things we just aren't capable of doing, but with God all things are possible.  Are you ready to launch out into the deep, are you ready to let God use you?

In verse 4;  Jesus said to Simon now go out where it is deeper and let down your nets to catch some fish.  Simon's reply was “Master, we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing."  But then Peter realized who was speaking to him and he said, "But if you say so, I’ll let the nets down again.”  This time their nets were so full of fish they began to tear!  A shout for help brought their partners in the other boat, and soon both boats were filled with fish and on the verge of sinking.  We are shouting out for those who are willing to partner with us to help us bring in the harvest of souls for His kingdom.

This was the beginning of discipleship for Simon (Peter), James and John they were just fishermen.  But when they saw who Jesus was they left everything to follow Him.

This could be the beginning for us!  We too need to see who Jesus is in our lives and we need to leave everything and follow Him.

The Bible says one can put a thousand to flight but two can put ten thousand to flight.  When we tie ourselves together with other Ministries we can do ten times what we are capable of by ourselves.  The Bible also says a three fold cord is not easily broken.  When we work together God is pleased and He will strengthen us beyond anything we could ever dream or imagine.

Rig Ministries is a Church without Walls, A Church out of the Box.  We are praying and asking God to bless us and use us to stretch this net all across America, bringing in a harvest for His kingdom.  We are praying for Churches, Ministries, and Individuals that are ready to say "Here am I Lord use me!"

I logged over 4 million miles as a truck driver from 1972 - 2007 and I have written a lot of it in my songs. God has taken me off the road and put me into full time ministry, but I still have a heart for all you drivers out there.
