Wow!!! I would have never thought it would have come to this but here we are postponing our 3 Fold Cord Conference. God only knows when we will be able to get together and feel safe again in crowds.
We were really excited James Payne had agreed to come and be with us all 3 days of the conference this year. I know so many would have been blessed by his anointed singing and preaching, so we are sending out as this month's CD a message by James Payne that is going to be a blessing to so many. The title of this message is "Hold The Rope." So enjoy and don't hesitate to request more of these CD'S to pass on to family, friends, & neighbors. We want to encourage each and everyone of you to get a hold of the Rope that God has tied to your miracle and don't let go. If you feel like you are at the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on. Wrap that rope around you, do whatever it takes to not let go of the Rope! We are asking everyone to be in prayer for us as we try and keep this ministry going. Iron sharpens Iron! We need each other to continue fighting the good fight of faith and thank you for your support & prayers for this ministry.
We have some exciting news !!! We know that many of our listeners are songwriter's too, so we are inviting you to send in your songs for our Lonesome road Vol # 4 project. We are looking for original songs for the Road written by ordinary folks like you and me. This project will be produced by Mac Records Dennis McKay and recorded at Studio 115A in Columbus, MS. Send us your songs or just lyrics and you just might be on Vol # 4.
Lonesome Road Ministries/Channel 21 Ministries chaplain program would like to recognize one of our Senior Chaplains Ronnie Wendell. Channel 21 Ministries Chaplain program was founded in 2012 by Darrell Spicer with the motto we are not preachers, we are not teachers, WE ARE REACHERS... Channel 21 Ministries Chaplains are a calming voice in the hectic world of trucking.
We are proud to announce that Chaplain Ronnie Wendell has been selected by his company RUAN as a top 10 finalist for Driver of the year. This is an incredibly prestigious honor considering he was selected out of almost 4,500 drivers across the country. This amounted to 167 nominees. Those nominees were voted on, and Ronnie made the top 10! Ronnie has worked very hard as a Chaplain for Channel 21 Ministries by passing out Lonesome Road CD's, Good News Distribution Bible's always being available for prayer for the drivers that he works with and meets on the road. Ronnie also has organized a 3 Fold Cord Conference out in Ohio last year and is in the process of putting together one for this year in October in Canton, OH. Ronnie, we couldn't be more proud of you. Even making the top 10 is such an incredible honor. Keep up the great work, and here is Ronnie's phone number call him and congratulate him (330) 353-0883.

Gary RayburnI logged over 4 million miles as a truck driver from 1972 - 2007 and I have written a lot of it in my songs. God has taken me off the road and put me into full time ministry, but I still have a heart for all you drivers out there. Archives
